Claddagh has the best fish and chips! On Mondays they're TWO FOR ONE! You can buy a large portion of fish and chips and get a large portion free all day long!! You can't beat it. Pefect with a pint of Guinness! Three Squares can't touch Claddagh' fish and chip recipe!!!
They also have a great happy hour, late night happy hour, beautiful patio, and live music on Saturdays. Great location right on Main Street.

My friends and I go here frequently and have ordered many items from the menu. We find the servers well-trained and efficient without being a nuisance. The food is quite good also - but pleantiful! Our favorites: Steak salad, the fried fish, the onion rings, and the house burger is a hit also!

My friends and I eat at this pub frequently because it's such a fun and unique atmosphere. Plus it is right in the middle of downtown Maple Grove, so it is easy to get to other places when we're done (like the movie theatre) The fish'n'chips are very good, also the spinach and artichoke dip, and corned beef and cabbage rolls. In the summers they seat out on this great little patio with a fireplace and everything. Very nice. I've been to Ireland, and this pub would fit right in with all the ones I visited over there. It does get busy in the evenings (even often on week nights) so I would suggest making a reservation. Also, they don't take reservations specifically for the patio, so if you want to sit out there plan on getting there a little early.

This is my favorite place to eat in all the metro area. Great atmosphere and food.. The fish and chips are great but I keep coming back for the shamrock (green) wings... Love themHighly recommended.

If we dine out before a movie, we'll usually hit the Claddagh Irish Pub. Always crowded for dinners, there's usually a good wait. But you won't find many places in Maple Grove at night that don't have a long wait. The wait staff is friendly despite their rushed evenings. There are a few TVs on if you want to watch your sports while eating. I'm a big fan of their fish n' chips - but the order is large, so you can order a 1/2 order, which seems perfect. My husband enjoys exploring what new brews they have on tap. Not a place for a relaxing romantic evening, but it's great for good food and fun.

The first thing that really strikes you is the traditional (and comfortable) pub atmosphere; dark stained wood, curtained side dining areas and a beautiful copper bar. The second, and possibly third through fifth, thing you'll find is that they serve properly pulled pints of Guinness. Anyone who enjoys Guinness will appreciate that they take their time pouring and serve you a pint that delivers the full flavor intended by the brewers. It is also evident that, since they pour so much Guinness, the kegs are fresher than at most restaurants and the price remains below what I've come to expect for a pint of the stout.
While the menu is not vast, it is filled with great traditional fare along side more contemporary pastas, sandwiches, etc. The fish and chips alone should solidify you as a regular; flavorful ale batter on a massive piece of moist whitefish. Their tartar sauce perfectly compliments the meal. The meatloaf is quite an undertaking, but chances are that you'll choose to be painfully full rather than leave any of it on the plate. No matter what you have, make sure to start with a cup of the Guinness onion soup; it's their Gaelic twist on French onion. I've never had a onion soup with as flavorful a broth. I've been tempted to upturn the bowl for the last few drops.
Normally, I am reticent to fall in love with a "trendy" suburban chain restaurant but I just can't help myself. It doesn't feel like a chain; it feels like a comfortable pub with friendly servers and good food. And in the end, that's what really matters.

Pros: Great food, service and atmosphere

Cons: Parking is tough; may have to walk a block.

We've been coming here for years now. Food has always been great. Portions are large. The fish and chips is the best around, corned beef & cabbage is really good also. Some menu items seem pricy for what you get - $18.00 for 1 pork chop, $5.50 beers. The atmosphere is great, service is great. The seats are very uncomfortable. Onion rings are to die for.

I happen to love this place! I first visited a few months after it had opened for lunch and although it was a bit pricier, it was worth the money. I've had several meals here, have gone for happy hour, dates, etc and every time and every meal has been very good. I personally recommend the fish and chips, burger, spinach and artichoke chicken sandwich, and the sheppard's pie. The atomosphere is very warm and cozy, especially if you get seated by the fireplace near the bar. Although some of the seats towards the back are a little hard, so you want to ask not to be seated there. The wait staff has always been knowledgeable and prompt and I have never had to wait to be seated, but I've never visited on a weekend; only weeknights.

This is one of our favorite places to eat. It's in a newer development, but you'd think you stepped into a real pub in Ireland. The food is creative, tasty, and plentiful. Don't miss the Fish and Chips, which is their specialty.

Having been to Ireland, I found the decor and the atmosphere very authentic. The FOOD value is immense, and well prepared. Service is always amazing. We've always been well taken care of, and have fun whenever we're there.

Pros: Great Food, Good Parking, Wonderful Staff

The interior looks like you would expect the interior of a Pub in Ireland to look. I went with one other person. We arrived at 5:30 on a Friday night. It was busy, but we were seated right away. I had the 1/2 order of Fish and Chips. The fish was huge, and it, the pub chips and cole slaw were great. My guest had the Pub Cheese Steak. She said the beef was really tender and good.

The service was quick and great, they have a fantastic old style looking bar with a wide variety of Irish Whiskey and Beer to choose from and a gorgeous interior. I feel fortunate to live so close to a great place.

I was really stunned by this place -- maybe it was lowered expectations, but wow. The interior is fantastic, it does have that "old feel" to it. Service was good, not great, and the meal was wonderful -- way too much food, but it was done well. It's fairly standard pub grub, but the burgers are really amazing. Not a beer fan, but the wine list was respectable. Was there early on a Saturday, so can't judge the "scene". Interesting how the different rooms have totally different feels.

Pros: Atmosphere, good basic food

I went on a saturday night with a group of 4 people. Arriving at 8:30pm, we expected to grab a late dinner, and a few drinks. We had to wait 1 hour (!) to be seated, and we didn't receive our food until 10:15pm. This is unacceptable, no matter how "trendy" a suburban pub could possibly be. While we waited to be seated we each had one pint from the bar, which totalled $22 for 4 beers... a bit pricey. At least the beverages were cold. The food was quite expensive for the type/quality... a cheese-stuffed chicken breast costs $16! Overall, I was very disappointed in my experience, and would not go back. Good luck attracting repeat customers, Claddagh. Finally, there's practically no parking, either. You are forced to use their "free" (read: "tip") valet service, and they drive your vehicle 1/4 mile away to find parking.

The food is presented well, If you go in there just to have drinks at the bar you get hungary just watching the food pass by.

Like most suburban resturants, way too much bacon. The chairs are super uncomfortable ( some form of Irish punishment?) and the music is bad. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat or drink here.
