Ratings_icons Nails & Co is AWFUL!!! BEWARE! WARNING

Joni W.

Terrible Job!!!! I went in for a manicure and the girl doing my nails observed my cuticles were dry and then took the mechanical filer, the one they use for acrylic nails and shaved off my cuticles (lazy!), I was so shocked I didn't say a thing at the time, but now I wish I had!!! My nails all have gouges and dents in them from the filer and it will take a month to hopefully grown them out. What a waste! I can't put any color on them, because the ridges are so deep the color isn't smooth. DO NOT GO THERE!!
It is an assembly line!!!

I went there once for a pedicure two weeks ago and will never do so again. The water basin for the pedicure station was not completely clean. There was soap residue sticking to the sides. I asked the 'technician' to clean it again and she was pretty hostile toward me.

Although the treatment includes paraffin, the actual contain in which they dip your feet has seen better days. Who knows how long the actual wax has been sitting there an how many feet have been soaked in it.

Good nail salons know better--the paraffin should be parceled out into separate bags and heated--then wrapped on an individual foot. Once used, IT SHOULD BE THROWN AWAY. Honestly, this place is a living petri dish of bacteria. Manicure tools were not clean and were not stored in such a way to make you think any effort was made in cleaning them. Every surface was dusty at second glance--from the tables, chairs, and check-out station.

Technicians did not seem to care if you were hot (sitting under a skylight) or pregnant (which I am).

I understand the concept of getting what you pay for, but no amount of money is worth potentially contracting a fungus.

Do not patronize this business if you value your health.

Ratings_icons Bad Experience ....

Anonymous

This was my first visit and it left a bad taste because of the horrible experience I had at this salon. Pedicure was badly done and when questioned the girl was rude and started yelling without listening to what I had to say. To top it all they charged my credit card more than the required amount, something they're not supposed to do. I will never step foot there again.

Ratings_icons Worst Treatment EVER!

Anonymous

I have never been treated like such a pariah in my life! The minute I walked into the shop, I felt unwelcome! I went in for an acrylic fill and the manager/owner rushed me through in 15 minutes! The quality of the work was the worst I have ever had! I had to go home, re-file, re-shape, buff and re-paint my own nails. Now, I am a big girl (275) and the looks they gave me were uncalled for. There were 4 employees and only one other customer. You would think that they would appreciate the business. I was looking for a new place and saw the reviews through this venue and thought I would try them out. I am a loyal customer and a big tipper for someone who does my nails the way I like them done as I am very particular. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to be respected. With service like this, it surprises me that they are still in business after 10 years.

wonderful service! there is practically no wait time. the place is clean. you dont have to worry about nail fungus everything they use is clean or new. Their product is very good. They use one of the best acrylics on the line. they are so artistics you dont have to worry about having the same nail design as everyone else in the neighborhood. my nails usually last three weeks instead of two. i have no lifting, no color fading, no nail breaking, my wife had no problems! they have an aboundant choice of colors and different brands of polishes..

I like a lot of good things about the nails and company. The shop is small but neat. The manicure and pedicure is perfect but they cost very cheap. The staffs are very friendly but not noisy. Its really worth the money you spend. The quality of service is the same you get in big nail salons.Ill definitely visiting them again and again.

PROS: Wonderful customer service
CONS: none

This is a small nail shop, nothing fancy. They have very reasonable prices. A mani and pedi combo is $35 and they do a very good job. The shop looks clean and I didn't notice that they were using their tools again without disinfecting them first. When I'm getting my feet done and I'm sitting in the massaging chair while my feet are soaking I can see the staff working on other people.
