I don't get the obsession with this place. It's always crowded, you can't walk around the place. The worst part is, they don't separate two lines and you sit there waiting for your food, then they sit and yell "hot food down here" "hot

Cossetta's is convenient if one is downtown St.Paul. The food is okay, but pricey. It's worth the drive to go to John's Pizza up-on Como Ave. and Dale!! Cossetta has the seating and location for the ExCel Energy Center. Visit Cossetta's, but then check-out John's Pizza!!

This is one of those places that my father and I have had since I was a child that has been "our place." We go there for those special father-daughter lunches and dinners, when we want to catch up with each other and just spend time together.

We always get our respective traditional dishes, but every now and then we branch out. I have never had a bad meal there, nor bad service, or over-priced food or anything like that. Okay, so sometimes the tables are sticky, or there is some noise from a large crowd, and if you come during hockey season PLEASE make sure that you are not going at the same time as all of the Wild fans that grab a slice or some pasta before the game starts.

The ambiance is fabulous, if not white-table cloth (but one doesn't go there for that). Ordering, picking up and paying is simple and efficient. Even if the line is long, it goes quickly.

They have an attached delicatessan that I also highly recommend, where you can get their famous (and still the best that I have ever had) marinara sauce, as well as meats, cheeses, olive oils from all over and fresh-baked bread every day.

They even have their own parking, which in thata area is coveted and much appreciated!

I was just down there doing some shopping in the Market and they have the most dazzling display of Deruta ceramics. This stuff is hard to find and very unique. It looks more like a museum than Italian Market. Got some Italian Sausage and Bread for dinner tonight. I can't wait. It's not too busy right now (4pm), even with the Wild game starting in a couple hours. Maybe I hit it at the right time. Always good to see Nancy behind the counter.
