I went to this horrible restaurant with my mom and sister for dinner. We walked in to find every table piled with dirty dishes. It took 2 different servers and almost 15 minutes to bring us menus, water and bread. My mom tried to order Fettucine Alfredo and was told not to because it was not good and several customers had complained about it and sent it back. She ended up with a dish similar in concept...pollo con asparagi. It was the worst thing she'd ever tasted. My sister and I were already done eating before she could even try to send it back. We had to flag down the servers several times to do this. In the meantime, we saw 2 customers standing in the kitchen yelling at the owner/cook. He was not afraid to yell back and it really spoiled my dinner. At this point, I was ready to get up and leave. We waited and waited for the servers to check on us, bring to-go boxes and our check. We had to ask twice before they actually brought anything to us. I ordered the lasagna, my sister ordered gnocci, which were both good. This was the worst service and overall experience I've ever had. The food was average, at best. The prices were VERY high. The restaurant dirty. Not worth your time or money!

Great little Italian place!! Good food, good pricing and great service. The pizza was phenomenal and the Penne pasta with sausage and peppers marinara was absolutely delicious!! My husband's family is from the "homeland" and he agreed that it was the best Italian we have had in the Twin Cities. Just east of St Paul in Oakdale off 694 and 10th St. I would highly recommend it!

Pros: authentic Italian cuisine

My husband and I recently saw the article in the pioneer press that food critic Kathy Jenkins wrote. We thought we'd try it. It was worth the wait! My husband had pollo balsamic and I had spaghetti carbonar. Both were delicious! We will definitely be back!!

Pros: Amazing fresh food! Relaxing dinner

Cons: Service is a little slow...but worth it!

This meal was so bad that I became physically ill from it. There were so many things wrong with the meal that I have a hard time knowing where to start. Everything from bread to entree (which made me ill) was bad. There are no redeeming factors. Don't waste your time.

Pros: easy access to the door, so you can leave quickly

Cons: very very very bad food.

Fare: This is my uncle's favorite place to get Italian grub- he really likes the spicy tomato pasta dish. I've tried both the alfredo and the cheese raviolis here and I think they are sub-par. I go to a place because they can make things that I can't- and I feel like I can totally make something like this at home in my own kitchen.

Price: Like i said, I think I could make this myself, so I think it's overpriced.
