They DON't INCLUDE installation. Factor that in when you are buying a gas range or a dishwasher. Unless you are a serious Do it Yourselfer expect to add on another $100 to $150 to have someone else install that dishwasher and range.

I foolishly thought I could install the dishwasher by myself since I can do basic plumbing. Unfortunately it doesn't come with a cord. Just two bare wires and I am helpless with electrical.. Can you imagine buying a refrigerator with two wires sticking out and instructions telling you to have a qualified electrician to install? No.. Then why dot they make dishwashers that way??

ApplianceSmart is an excellent source for appliances in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Appliancemart has several locations. I have been to the Excellsior Blvd location. This is a convenient location in the central metro area. They carry brands such as Whirlpool, GE, Kitchenaid, Jenn-Air, and Maytag. They have fridges, dishwashers, microwaves,ranges, and washers and dryers. They have factory liquidation prices. Check Appliancesmart out for the best prices in town.

I am so glad we have this type of store here! It is such a neccessity! Who wants to pay $1000 for a refrigerator? Not me. We have bought several appliances from here and are very pleased. They are all brand-new products but may have scratch anddent issues. MOST is is very small and not even visible when the appliance is installed! Sometimes its actually the packaging only that is scratched or dented too! Talk about crazy deals? We have bought 2 washers [different houses], a dishwasher and a stove there and never had to spend more than $300/item. They have a 1year warranty and cheap delivery and installation.

To shop smart for appliances, where else then Appliance Smart? But really it is smart to shop there, they carry major brands and they restock daily. They key to watch here is the items are normally scratch and dent, but if you don't care, then why should someone else. With so much variety and prices under the big stores, this should be at least your first stop to price others against if not the place to buy them.

We have purchased several appliances from this discount chain appliance center including 2 washers [different houses-lol], 1dryer, 1 dishwasher and one stove.

They specialize in scratch and dent as well as overstock making their NEW inventory very reasonably priced. Many times it's just the box thats dented or a scratch that won't show when the appliance is in place.

We have been impressed with price, product, and service. I don't think we spent over $200 on any one of those and they were Whirlpool brands. Every appliance has an automatic 1year warranty and the delivery charge is very cheap [$20 i think] for delivery, installation and haul away of your old appliance.

GREAT way to update your home!

PROS: Price, service,products
CONS: Well stocked but cannot predict what you will find.

This is a hard one to rate, if you are going to pick up the appliance yourself they are satisfactory but I would not recommend thier delivery service.

Most of their appliances are scratch and dent with minor cosmetic damage, so look them over good before you buy. Often the scratches or dents will not even be visible once the appliance is installed. If these minor cosmetic problems are okay with you, then you stand to save hundreds of dollars on appliances by shopping at appliance smart.

Thier delivery service leaves alot to be desired. If the deliverymen think it is too hard to bring the appliance into your house, they are likely to just drop it off in your driveway and take off. That's what happened to us.

PROS: good prices
CONS: delivery service is not very good
