In short, horrible customer service and poor quality of furniture! We would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!! We bought a bedroom set for our master bedroom and a formal dining set back in November 2013 at the Burnsville location. We were told at the time that we would receive the furniture by Jan 22, 2014 and we would be contacted to set up delivery for the furniture. January came around, we did not hear from Becker so we called to follow up on our order. We were told that the bedroom set was ready for delivery but the dining set has been back-ordered to Feb 22, 2014. We arranged a separate delivery to get our bedroom set on Jan 25, 2014. Within two weeks, we found that two of the wood sticks on the platform of our bed frame were broken. We called the customer service multiple times to try resolving the issue. The customer service is a pain to even get through. We left message on the voicemail and it takes an average of 5-7 business days to receive a return call. Today, I waited over 30 minutes on the phone to finally talk to someone and found out that our dining set has been pushed back further. We are now looking at getting the dining table in March 15 and the chairs are not going to be here until mid of April!! There was never an apology what-so-ever, let alone any follow-up on our order. We went Becker Furniture World thinking that with the price we paid for the furniture, we would have a hassle-free experience and quality furniture. WRONG!! There are definitely better places out there that deserve our business!! :(

MN is so spoiled to have have such an amazing furniture store in our state. The selection, quality, service and salespeople are outstanding! They actually have IN HOME DESIGN....at NO EXTRA COST!! The designer helped me pick out paint and put four rooms together. I am so happy with the money I saved and the person I worked with. (Not pushy......very helpful) My home is looking great for the Holidays!! Thanks Becker Furniture World!!!

I would run very fast from Becker Furniture World if you are thinking of purchasing there. They are horrible. I ordered several pieces of furniture in January 2013 and it is March now and I have received more headaches than furniture.

When my first delivery came several pieces were missing (end table but no coffee table, chairs and no table). And the expensive dining room table literally fell apart when they were putting it together and 90% of the dining room chairs were wobbly. When we asked why they didn't check these first before delivery they said they didn't have a place to do that. They wanted us to keep the defective pieces so a service person could come and fix them. We refused and had to call twice to get our money appropriately refunded for the dining room pieces.

Then in mid February, 6 weeks after we ordered, we were informed that the chairs for the kitchen set we had ordered were discontinued and they wanted to know if we wanted the table without the chairs. We again asked for refund on these pieces and had to call three times to get our refund.

Then toward the end of February we were informed the couch, chairs and ottomans we custom ordered January 4th, could not be made because the fabric had been discontinued. Our choice was to cancel the order or come in and pick out new fabric. We canceled and as of today are still trying to get our money refunded.

We still have 2 pieces left to receive that we paid for January 4th but have not gotten a firm delivery date on yet. Last we heard it was suppose to be the end of March. Both of these were suppose to be stock pieces and delivered back in January. Only reason we have not cancelled these is that they go with pieces we already have.

So far no apologies, not even return phone calls from the store manager. Find it very odd that Becker Furniture World can stay in business when they hold onto money and orders for weeks before placing them. We will never shop with them again. Here it is March when all our items were to be in and we literally have to start all over. Not with Becker Furniture World though, never again! When people see our bare rooms in our house we tell the our horrible service experience with Becker Furniture World.

I always have shopped at Becker Furniture World to check out their selection when looking for new furniture. I usually have lots of questions and there is always someone right there to answer them. Sometimes their prices can be a little high so it pays to shop around; sometimes they are a better deal.
