This is a great restaurant! I love their "chops" and salmon. The sides are great too (mashed potatoes!). It is a pretty busy restaurant, so it is not quiet but the booths help to seclude you a little!

Wildfire is one of my favorite restaurants. I would highly recommend the Wildfire Chopped Salad among many other things on the menu. The service is very good and although it's busy, it's a big restaurant so the wait is usually not very long if going during peak times. The food is great and the atmosphere is private. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Food is good, and the service is good, but not good enough to spend 1/2 weeks pay on one meal.
If someone else is paying though, it's a treat.

I love this restaurant! Portions are huge. Food is delicious! The steaks are fresh! I am a huge fan of the pork chops! Their salads serve more than two, but taste so good! Go with a group!!

My wife and I went to Wildfire and had a wonderful time.
The steak I had was wonderful and the service was great.
A manager came by to check on us and make sure our experience was great.

The price was high, but I think you get what you pay for. You could probably split some of the items if you want to save some money because the portions are large.

overall a great experience.

The Wildfire Restaurant is always a must when I am in town visiting family. Great salads and wonderful fresh bread make a great lunch. A really nice atmosphere makes this a great place for catching up with friends.

Wildfire has the best chop salad anywhere! It comes in two sizes and both are huge. The onion bread that comes with it is scrumptious - my mouth waters thinking about it!

Ever since Wildfire restaurant opened in Eden Prairie, it has always been busy. That is because the food is wonderful, and the atmosphere super fun. The restaurant has an open kitchen to the main dining room, which gives the whole place a wonderful aroma. The menu is big, and has many tasty appetizers, and lots of delicious salads ( the best is their chop salad) ,and lots of choices of steaks and seafood dishes. The salads are big and meant to be shared. One of the reasons this restaurant has been so successful is the fact that you can go dressed casual, or certainly make it a fancy date night. Highly recommended!!

Food all seemed fine however if the place is not packed and your still dining they are likely to ask you to leave. At 11:00pm during the holidays the manager came by our table and said "ladies it is time" Wow!!
Well I guess thats the last time we dine here.

I can't say enough that is good about this place. The first time we went was 2 years ago on my birthday. Of course we did not have reservations but even though they told us it would be about a 45 minute wait if we waited 20 I would be surprised. The steak was by far the best I have ever had (blue cheese crusted fillet!!!) Since then we have been back a number of times and have had a great experience every time. I would recommend it to ANYONE who is looking for something new and different. The only minor complaint I had one time was that we were seated in the bar area which was fine except because of where we were located (1st booth around the corner) and how crowded the lobby can get, we had people leaning on our booth as we were trying to enjoy the meal. If there was some way to put up a bit of a wall there to not have that intrusion that would be great. All in all, this place is a must go!

My fiance took me here for Valentine's Day with reservations. We arrived 10 minutes before our reserved time and were seated within 10 minutes, so that worked out perfectly. The "take-out" line was about 20 people long, though, which made for a very crowded lobby. Our server was ok, I've had better service. We never got any bread/butter that all of the other tables got with their meals, but we figured we didn't need it anyways. I ordered a chocolate martini, which was great and my fiance ordered an Ameretto Sour - which was 3/4 ice. I had the plain filet minon which was broiled to perfection - it was one of the best steaks I've had and my fiance had the bone-in rib-eye which he was quite pleased with as well. We both ordered the mashed potatoes - which are very addicting - to go along with our steaks and we each had a dessert, which were ok, but could have been better. Overall I thought the atmosphere and food were very good, but the wait staff/servers need to be trained better.

We went there for our 6th wedding anniversary, and wow! We had NY Strip and shrimp special. I had blue cheese crust, and my husband the horseradish crust. I liked the blue cheese better.....

Everything was excellent. The salad, the steaks were cooked perfectly, and so very good.

This beat Ruth Chris by far.

This is my all time favorite restaurant. I have been eating at Wildfire frequently since it's opening in October 2002. The service is amazing and the food is just as great! The chicken chopped salad is my absolute favorite anywhere. The steaks are amazing and cooked to perfection, I prefer the bearnaise crust. Macadamia nut crusted halibut is excellent as well. The restaurant is very well staffed and you will never run out of drinks or have any extra dishes on your table. The Ellington Room booths are the best seats in the house, but all the tables and rooms are special in thier own way. The desserts here are some of the best I've ever had, they are all homemade and beautifully presented. I recommend everyone experience Wildfire at least once!

To begin, the restaurant is located in a large mall. So, they have a lot to make up for with atmosphere. The ambiance was nice but not extraordinary. We sat in a small side room, the Savoy Room. Perhaps, the larger main room would be more interesting. The service was exceptional and on par with any top restaurant. The food, however, was average. My halibut was dry. The chopped salad was swimming in dressing.

Overall I enjoyed this restaurant, however Wildfire is definately a step below the Manny's / Capital Grille type restaurants. I ordered the steak and lobster. The steak was very good and cooked exactly the way I wanted it (Medium). The lobster tail was smaller and more expensive than expected. Our waitor disappeared on us for 15 minutes after we finished our meal, as we were planning to catch a movie after dinner. I was very suprised when I asked for a side of bernaise and was told that they don't have that, even one of their menu steak items has a crusted bernaise topping. Very weird. I would go back though.

I've eaten at Wildfire approx 10 times. Excellent chopped salad! Food is very good. Prices ok. Service and table proximity --- yikes! Every time we have a reservation; every time we still have to wait -- up to 20 minutes. The wait staff has a tough time serving the food, because the tables are way too close together. Also negative is the speed with which they try to remove your plates and get you out the door! We took a group Friday and it was ludicrous: if you hadn't taken a bite of food for 10 seconds one of the assistant wait staff was trying to remove your plate -- whether finished or not. FOUR TIMES in less than 10 minutes they tried to grab the same person's plate who was not finished. It was very irritating. Although the food is good, this kind of treatment ruined our dinner.

Wildfire is literally one of the best unknown restaurants throughout all of the twin cities. It serves the perfect dining experience. Everyone of the staff is very pleasant and helpful. The couple of times that my wife, friends, and I have dined at Wildfire were some of the best expereinces in any restaurants throughout the country. The drinks, from the martinis to the amazing wine list, were the perfect compliments to the outstanding menu. The fine selection of steaks, amazing seafood, huge salads and sinful desserts make the meal complete in every way. The servers are great, but there is one server that we have enjoyed a couple of times. Trevor is the complete package when it comes to servers, he has excellent knowledge of the menu and drinks, plus his personality makes the experience one of kind. Thanks Wildfire.

I've eaten at all of the top steak houses in town: Morton's, Ruth Chris, Manny's, but nothing compares to WildFire's steaks. Their Blue Cheese crusted steak is unbelievable!!
If you don't have reservations, the wait is a bit long and the food is a little on the spendy side, but it is well worth it!!

My boyfriend and I went last year just after it opened and were very disappointed...we waited for a table that we had a reservation for. We had a booth that sat higher that the dinning room floor did, needless to say I was a bit uncomfortable wearing a skirt in the dinning room floors eye line. The food was in large portions but did have any good flavor to it. The atmosphere WAS GREAT. The way the resturant is decorated was in the swanky, art deco with dark woods and palms. If you do go CHECK OUT THE BATHROOMS!!!

Wildfire is a pretty good looking place. The atmosphere/deco is comparable to Rudolf's BBQ.
I am not too happy with their services though. My husband and I were seated promptly but our server ignored us for a very long time(a good 15 minutes). Plus, the place was not busy. My husband and I watched as other tables who were seated after us were helped first. We were about to just leave but my husband made eye contact with the manager who immediately informed the servers. Our server's lousy excuse for not helping us was because she did not "see us".
Food is pretty good..a little pricey though. I paid 11 bucks for my salad.

This place is the answer to those who want to eat great food, but don't want to act "stuffy." Not to say this place isn't nice; it is, but in a sort of retro-kitschy kind of way. There's just enough tongue-in-cheek about the whole thing to set you at ease and convince you that steaks and martinis really were the best answer, all along.

Unlike many steak houses, though, the non-red-meats get their full share of attention. The "tuna burger" was so wonderful, I ordered a second to take home for family. Desserts, as always and everywhere, were oversized, and I can't comment on them. They did offer three different fresh fruit offerings, which was nice.

Not a hitch in the service, although I was there for lunch, and it wasn't busy. Nonsmokers may dislike walking through the bar/ lounge to be seated.

Wildfire has fabulous atmosphere, fantastic food and the kind of service that makes you feel like a VIP. We've been there numerous times and it is always difficult to choose between the steaks and seafood. The Halibut and Ahi Tuna melt in your mouth and the Filets and Ribeye are out-of-this world. The servers always guide you through the menu and are great about making suggestions on wine and food. The portions are big, too, so I guarantee you will leave full and very happy after a night at Wildfire. Not inexpensive, but money well spent. Make reservations.

Manny's prices but poor bar and service. For prices like these you shouldn't get a warm martini and have to flag down your waiter when you want something. The saving grace were the excellent steaks. My wife and I had a gift certificate for $50 off, which meant we only spent about $60 out of pocket. We got our money's worth...barely.

I have seen this restaurant formula about a squillion times. Wildfire does a decent job of making it look different, but if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it is likely Lettuce Entertain You. I'll take my money and clients to Manny's, thanks. It is, however, the best mall steakhouse in the cities.

I thought the drinks and food were good and the staff seemed at your beck and call, but if your going to call yourself a Steak place and try and charge Morton and Manny's prices, you better give Morton and Manny's portions. The side dishes seemed very small for the price and the prime rib seemed to have more fat that meat. The $8.95 added on for getting shrimp with your steak would have been more enjoyable if there would have been more than three. Overall I would go back, but not for steak.

The Ahi Tuna was amazing as was the Porterhouse. The mashed potatoes were just right and the sauces used were just enough to be flavorful, but not intrusive. I had yet to find a place that made a good apple martini here in the Twin Cities and Wildfire has it down pat! If I weren't so full, I would have had dessert too, which looked wonderful! I will say that they have WAY too many tables in there. The servers were tripping all over each other to get around. I don't think you need the image of being greedy when you are a high end restaurant. Get rid of some of the tables so the people dining have some privacy and aren't getting elbowed by busboys and hosts on the way by. We had a great server though... I wish I remembered her name. I definately recommend Wildfire.

Pros: Wonderful Food, Amazing Apple Martini, Friendly Service

Cons: Too Many Tables

I went their to try things out, result disappoint. Services are OK, but the food are ... I order special of the day -- walleye burger, the walleye end up with lightly burn, poorly breaded, which cause the walleye stick with the breading. The buns are over tosted, the tomato are warm which mean the cook put all the things on before the walleye finish cooking.
