The food here has always been excellent. Any Chinese restaurant we go to is judged in comparison to Yang's. The service is friendly and helpful. Don't miss out on this gem in the eastern metro!

Yang's use to be a family favorite. We have been going there for the last 10 years now. The last 2 out of the 3 times we have been highly disappointed!! Those 2 times we got out food to go. The sesame chicken was way over cooked both times. And this last time the breading was just falling off the chicken. The chicken lo mein also was subpar to say the least. I'm so disappointed and sad bc Yang's was hands down my favorite chinese in the cities looks like I'll be finding a new chinese restaurant.

Great food. I recommend getting the Sesame Chicken at spice level 3! 5 isn't extremely spicy, but it does have some kick!

Pros: Food, price

Cons: Closed on Sundays

I wouldn't say this is the best chinese ever, especially compared to some of the restaurants i've been to in chinatown in san fran. But, for a Woodbury local restaurant the place is great! I've never been disappointed and the service is always really fast for take-out. The food is good, my fav so far is the cashew chicken mm-mmm

Best Take out in the Twin Cities. All of the chicken dishes are great, tender white meat, not that weird looking stuff at some places.

If you are looking for a great Chinese restraunt give this place a try. I was recommended here by a co-worker and it held up to her raves. There are few excellent Chinese restraunts in the Twin Cities area, but this is one of them. We order take out from here about every 2 weeks for the past 3 months since we moved to Woodbury. I have had something different every time and haven't been disappointed yet. I have never dined in yet and will do that eventually, but every time I have picked up and order the place is packed along with 3-4 other customers getting to-go orders. A must try for Chinese enthusiasts.

Pros: Great food & fast call in service

Cons: A little expensive in the evening, but usual for dinner Chinese and worth it in this case.

I have tasted the Kung Pao beef and chicken and the Szechuen beef - each of these recipes is prepared a little different than what I'm used to having, but they were nonetheless tasty. The menu is extensive, so much better variety then Lee Ann Chins. If you walk-in to order the food is usually ready in 5-10 minutes. The people are always friendly. I recommend it.

Just mention Yangs's SESAME SWIMP(shrimp) and I go CRAZZZY!! Seriously, it is so delicious. OOH! WATCH OUT! They have some nasal-searing mustard sauce! However, It's worth the burn since it's so delicious. It's a mom and pop place! how could you not love it, and the servers are the best. I've been in the food biz for a while, so I know good service when I get it. Trust me. I live in Minneapolis, and I drive all the way out to Woodbury JUST to eat their DELICIOUS FOOODS! In fact, I'm going to leave right now to get some of Yang's delicious foods!

Yangs' dinner combos are incredible, both in taste and price. For around $7 you can get an entree, fried rice, an egg roll, and soup. It's a hard to beat value! We have had many great meals at the restaurant, and it is also an excellent place to get take out.

Yang?s is by far my favorite restaurant for Chinese food. They have everything you would want in a restaurant: friendly service, quality ingredients, clean and comfortable atmosphere, exceptionally affordable food, and best of all, the greatest sesame chicken! While waiting for my order, I noticed at least every other person order sesame chicken, it?s that phenomenal. You just have to try it to believe it. All white meat chicken breast, covered in a light crispy batter and toss fried in a delicious garlicky sesame sauce. On top of that, it can be ordered to your spice preference, on a scale of 1-5. Customer service is great as well. The list of things go on, so just give it a try already!!

I just checked it out because of the previous reviews regarding the sesame chicken. I consider my-self a fairly good critic of food. I admit I was spectical as there are so many chinese food resteraunts but the food was above average and I recommend as the others did the sesame chicken...not the regular old deep fried heavily battered drenched in sauce that ive come to expect but more of the lighlty battered tossed in sauce style..worth checking out...

Pros: thumbs up on food

Its funny all they do is use good quality meat in their sesame chicken. Unbelivable what a difference it makes and their sauce isnt overpowering. I havent had a bad dish here. Sesame chicken is quite popular so at night it costs 10.50$ but the lunch plate is still quite reasonable.

Pros: Good Food Nice wait service

Cons: Not allot of tables but allot of people take out so it has never been packed.

Best in town! Their hot and sour soup and sesame chicken are fantastic! The service is great, food is always good, and it's one of the best places to eat in town.

This is one of the better Chinese restaurants in town. The atmosphere isn't fantastic, but the food is well worth the trip.

I get take-out here all the time, the food is always hot, fresh and wonderful. And you get a lot for the price. Even though it is always busy, I have always received service with a smile. I highly recommend giving Yang's a try.

Yang's is a staple of Woodbury dining. Though over the past few years the number of restaurants in this town has shoot through the roof, Yangs still has some of the best food in the city and east metro. My menu selection is quite small since I tend to go with a good thing, sesame chicken basically all the time. They have great 'combos' that come with an egg roll, soup, friend rice and an entree for all under $7. Also their cream cheese wontons are excellent! They don't have that crab junk in them like many places now. So all in all, a great family run place that gets two forks up in my book!
