We have spent many years in an organized religion and several more in a charismatic church but North County Community Church has far surpassed what they had to offer. The people are warm and friendly and some have been with the church since its founding 25 years ago. The three pastors compliment one another in their sound biblical teaching and the church offers a wide variety of worship. Besides the two Sunday services at 9:00 am and 10:45 am, there are community groups that meet weekly to further study the bible along with bible studies offered at the church throughout the year. They have many ministries in which you may become involved including a women's ministry, youth group, Awanas, men's ministry, Helping Hands ministry to the homeless and many, many more. There is an outreach to a sister church in Romania and mission trips go annually. I brought my neice and nephews to their Vacation Bible School who were not too enthused about going because the VBS's they had attended before were nothing but lame puppet shows. That first day I picked them up after it was over, they couldn't have been more thrilled. My neice exclaimed, "Aunt Pat, I had the most fun ever!" And it continued that way day after day. The leaders told me this was their biggest group they had ever had and they had been concerned because a large church in the area was having their VBS the same week. It just goes to show you what a difference the right people and the right teaching can do. Oh, and there's no passing the plate during the service either. Money is not brought up. There is an offering box in the foyer and you give according to your conscience.
