With PLENTY of competition out there, please save your time and effort and go with (literally) ANY other company! I should have known from the initial contract with NORMAN from the St. Charles location...he was short, "disgruntled"....as though I was bothering him by calling for service.
Norman quoted $54.50 for a service call. My " professional " service tech ran my washing machine (a 12 minute spin-only cycle), told me we use too much soap and left. He never touched a tool....he never thought to investigate ANY other options....
His final charge for this thorough investigation was just under $100!!!

What Norman will conveniently forget to mention to you is that you will be charged by the minute while the service tech is at your home. I called NORMAN back and told him he was getting $54.50...just as he quoted me. He made excuses as to why he didnt mention the per minute charge...I called him on his BS and he hung up on me. SHADY business practices that MAY still work on the elderly. Sorry, NORMAN. ...nice try!
Let me continue this by saying the "expert" Keeven sent to my house didnt touch a tool. He told me we "use too much soap"...FALSE! I, after about 2 minutes of research, discovered front load washers produce an error code...apparently Keeven doesn't realize this. I pulled the error code and replaced the door latch myself for $40 and 2 minutes of labor. Guess I should start an appliance service company??? At the very least, Keeven, feel free to consult me whenever you get another "brain-buster" like this one...then you can rob people of their money and AT LEAST give SOME insight! AVOID KEEVEN! AVOID KEEVEN! AVOID KEEVEN! AVOID KEEVEN!

We have used Keeven Appliance several times over the last 15 years or so, to both purchase major appliances and as an appliance repair company. They had been our "go to" appliance place. We appreciated the fact they were a family owned local business.
But as of this week, we will no longer do business with them.They are not standing behind their work.They would rather lose a customer than admit they were wrong. Before you buy from them, be advised that they do not make night-time emergency service calls. They have an answering service that only relays messages the next morning.... Keeven can not be reached at night. The next day is soon enough for them.

I have been dealing with Keeven Appliance since the early 1980's. My wife and I have bought almost all of our appliances from them and have had all repairs done by them. We have never been anything less than completely satisfied. I came upon the anonymous review below today and could not believe that Keeven had any kind of bad record regarding standing behind their products. So I checked with the Missouri Attorney General's Office and looked up Keeven Appliance on the BBB Website. Far from having a poor record regarding customer service, they have been a Better Business Bureau accredited company since December of 1988. The BBB rating of Keevan Appliance states:

Based on BBB files, this company has a satisfactory record with the BBB. A satisfactory report means a company has been in business for at least 12 months, and properly addressed matters referred by the BBB. The company does not have an unusual volume of complaints, or any government actions involving its marketplace conduct. The BBB understands and has no concerns about the company's products, services and type of business.

The Attoney General's Office Website shows one complaint for Keeven Appliance and that it was resolved successfully.

I have no financial stake in Keeven Appliance and no relationship other than the business one I have already stated. I am providing this correction because I hate to see Keeven's fine reputation unfairly smeared.

I strongly suggest that anyone considering avoiding doing business with them because of that review check out the information available first.

I bought a "new" dryer from them Saturday. It takes 2 and a half hours to dry small load of clothes. I called today to ask about their return policy and they don't have one. I checked the attorney general, better business bureau and missouri court cases and Keeven has a poor history with all three. They have violated consumer rights laws. If you purchase a defective product you have the right to get your money back. They offered to send a repair man and I refused. There should be no repairs needed on a new machine. They have conducted bad business with me.

This is a great family owned local business. I have bought a washer, dryer, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator from them. Their staff is always very polite and helpful, but not pushy. When you call for a repair, they can usually come out within 1-2 days. Repair staff are also very nice and very efficient. I highly recommend this company!
