We own six vehicles, only one of which is made in the USA (a Ford E150 van). Mr. Bray only works on American vehicles, so we've only taken our Ford van there.
I like Bray's automotive because he's a straight shooter, he charges an honest rate, and he fixes what he says he'll fix.
I've brought vehicles that I'm considering purshasing in to Brays to have him check them over before I buy - I know that he'll give me an honest, thorough evaluation.
He does MO safety inspections, but only in the mornings.
He changed the plugs in my van - a tough job due to the fact the the engine is only partially accessible from beneath the hood - and charged me the standard rate, even though one plug took a very long time to change (the main reason I didn't do the job myself)
He's changed the rusty brake line in a Ford truck I once owned (again, a difficult job because the rust made the brake lines fragile and difficult to remove) and removed a frozen-on brake drum on the same vehicle.
In a previous Ford van, he turned down the chance to replace the engine (it DID need replacing) saying that the dealer would do a better job, even though they'd charge more. (It was a big job - radiator, etc. had to be removed to remove the engine)
I'd trust him with any auto repair job - knowing that he'd do a good job and an honest job.
PROS: Honest, reliable, affordable
CONS: Only works on American makes
