We purchased a truck from Landmark about two months ago and found them to be fast talking and extremely sly at selling cars. The first red flair that went up was when the finance guy wanted me to sign the back page of the contract prior to reviewing the 1st page. When I stopped it and looked at the front page I noticed the selling price was almost $5000 more than the Internet price. When I questioned it, the finance guy, called in someone else to explain to me why that was like that; I thought I understood, but it didn't make sense the longer I thought about it. I called the dealership and had another person explain it to me, and then I understood. What they didn't tell me was the contract DID NOT include the sales tax. I went to the tag office today and they want to charge me over $4,000 to tag the truck. They should have informed me that the taxes weren't included and that I'd have to pay when tagging, but they didn't. I believe they tried to keep in the monthly payment range I wanted (even though it ended up being $150 more) and neglected to tell me about the taxes so it wouldn't be included in the financing and put me way over my price range.

The one thing I didn't mention is their ability to scam you into buying the Life Insurance; here's the story. After I purchased the truck I discovered they lied to me regarding the purchasing of Disability and Life Insurance. I wanted to purchase disability only, and was told the life insurance goes "hand in hand" with the disability; not true! I called he insurance company and asked them if it was necessary and they said no. I called the dealership back and they stuck to their story; go figure. I turned them into the Missouri State Insurance Commission and I received my response today. The dealership said I wanted the insurance; I'm already highly covered, so that's not true. The insurance company was nice to cancel the policy, and put the money back on my loan.

You're taking your chances going into this dealership. STAY AWAY!!!!!

I highly recommend everyone, who has been screwed by this dealership, to turn them into the Federal Trade Commission: http://www.ftc.gov/ or Phone: Call our toll-free helpline: 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357); This dealership needs to be investigated and they won't do anything unless they receive enough complaints.

Everyone was very helpful and courteous. The only negative was that when my car was returned from the service area there was grease on the seat belt connector which transferred to my clothing and grease on the inside of the passenger door. This is a first, so hopefully, it will be remedied. I do appreciate the respectful way of all the folks there. Thanks!

The people at Dodge were very enjoyable to work with and we are very happy with the quality of service and time they are willing to put in for their customers. We are repeat customers, we have bought probably six Dodge vehicals in the past few years.

I recently had a horrible experience at this location. I was trying to buy a used vehicle. Many things happened that sent up red flags, but I will only mention the two that irritated me the most. First of all we asked for a Carfax, instead we were given an Autocheck report, and were only given the first couple pages. That way they could say it was a one owner car. I have seen these reports before and know how they read. Also, we were trying to see what finance rate they would give us. The salesman would not give us the rate until we signed that we would buy the car!! We kept telling him it would only work out for the right price, and he said "sure sign right here." I am so glad we walked out of there!! I will NEVER go back, or reccomend them. Horrible Service!!

We purchased a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep last week and had a very positive experience. We were pleased with the respectful and professional dealings we had with both Rick P. and Mike B. Rick answered all of our questions quickly in the weeks leading up to our purchase. He also was able to locate the exact vehicle that we wanted and gave us a price that was less than any other dealer we had been speaking with in Kansas and Missouri. The final contract negotiations were done efficiently, professionally, and fairly. We would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to our family and friends!

I have had over 7 cars serviced here and always had excellent service. I keep in mind they did not build the car - they just service them. I never go in with a chip on my shoulder demanding this and that as I have seen some people do, rather I go and explain my problem, ask how many of this type of problem they have had to date on this car, and then how long they feel it will take to get it repaired.

Its amazing what a good attitude will get you verses yelling and screaming. They have always bent over backwards to help me. Not all times does the problem get fixed the first time due to the complexities of the cars now days. Heck my first car (a van) went through 7 transmissions (this was not the dealers fault but Chryslers) till We got a good one. Another time I got a lemon and after three times with the same problem they got me a new one without any hassel on my part. Now that is what you want and will get from a 5 STAR DEALER like LANDMARK. Remember they are just people like you and me and deserve the kind of respect you want yourself.

The used car sales managers behavior was appalling. We requested a price on the Aspen and after waiting for our salesman to fill out 15 minutes worth of paperwork to give us a number, and another 15 minutes to go get the number (during which time I was able to look up the prices of both aspens on the lot on the internet and show them to my salesman upon his return) he returned to tell us we MUST drive it before getting a price. We reminded him that we had driven one of the 2 on the lot just 1 day prior and didn't need to drive the other as it was identical and just needed a price to see if we would like to consider this or the 2010 Town & Country. He informed us that the Used Car Sales Manager would not release that info until we drove it. After several minutes of discussion with our salesman we left the used car area and were headed back to the new cars. As we left the building I made the comment that we were done playing games and would not be purchasing anything today but would think about it and that the Used car area obviously didn't care about selling cars. Apparently the used car manager was outside when this was said as he literally yelled across the lot at me - WE WANT TO SELL CARS - ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS DRIVE IT - LADY and several other things I could not hear as we were still walking. I turned as did my husband to see him and a group of salesmen standing together outside a vehicle and laughing. We informed our salesman that not only would we not be buying a car from either used or new as we were not interested in spending our money at a dealership that had individuals that acted in such an unprofessional and rude manner. After our salesman apologized many times we left. I then called the dealership to speak with the general manager and was told he of course was not available and recounted the story to the man on the phone who informed me that he was in new cars and understood my frustration and that this was policy, he indicated the GM would get back with me and yet as of now I have not heard from anyone at all.

I purchased a used 2004 Dodge Ram from Landmark on 10.20.09 with a lot of hassle from the sales staff due to the ridiculous price. We went back and forth and agreed on a walk out price with the staff telling me the truck had been fully inspected.

On 10.21.09 my check engine light came on. I took a closer look at the truck and found the following problems, i had no spare tire, no jack in the truck, my speedometer was way off, missing parts on the interior, bugs in the cab, and the exhaust was held up with a coat hanger. Yes a coat hanger.

They told us to bring the truck back to them and they would fix the problems, so i did. I received a rental on 10.22.09. Three days later i got a call from one of the staff telling me that the had sold the rental they gave me and that i needed to return it that day. I drive the 85 miles to them and they gave me another rental and told me the gas was on them.

I got my truck back on 10.26.09 and everything was going great. Well the next morning on my way to work the cruise control would not engage. They have yet to fix the problem claiming there is nothing wrong.

I tried to speak with the general manager about the problem and i told him "your company sold me a piece of trash and i want it fixed" his reply "sometimes it happens, your warranty does not cover the problem"

Watch out for this company. You would think the way the car business is going right now they would take better care of cash paying customer. Guess not. Be on your toes.

We purchased a used Mazda MPV van from Landmark on Saturday June 14th, 2008. Robert Larkin waited on us. He could not have treated us any better. We had gone to CarMax three times before going to Landmark. Each time when we arrived the vechicle had been sold for over a week. They do not update their website but once a month. We were very disappointed with them But at Landmark the vehicle was available and Robert explained everything to us in detail and also helped us through the process of the paperwork and made it quick and easy. Even though we paid cash for our purchase the financial department could not have been any better. We really liked the way we were treated and we most likely will go back to Landmark when we decided to purchase our next vehicle later this year. Thank you Landmark...

This dodge dealer has quite a large lot which houses many cars, most of which are locked behind a tall fence. It can be difficult to get a salesman to help at times. We did not have a good experience with the first salesperson we spoke with, but when we returned and spoke with a second person, they were much more helpful.
