Animal Medical Ctr

Most of the doctors at this facility are great. If you pay attention to what you're being told, there are usually no surprises. I noticed problems with some of the people at the front desk in the past, but everyone seems great now! They even helped me save money on my bill, which surprised the heck out of me.

I get the feeling that a lot of reviews I have seen are by people who just did not want to pay their bill.

The service may be bad but at least they are rude when they finally get around to waiting on you at all. The prices are a bit high compared to other options in the area and there is a more than usual odor. One time was enough for me and I'll never be back. I'd urge others to shop for a more suitable vet experience.

I love Dr Joi, she is the best Veterinerian around. The front staff is knowledgable and always friendly. They know my pets by name!! The health plan saves me a lot of money, especially since I have 4 dogs.

Couldn't ask for a better place to go with my pets.

The person below is crazy!!

I was new in town and just used the first vet I could find. That was a mistake. The front desk people treated me like crap and the vets treated me like I was taking up their precious time. I also felt like an unwanted "guest". The prices were ridiculous. I came to her and was having problems with my newly adopted dog and she kept saying" he needs to see a behavioral therapist" (at the age of 12)..I was on a fixed income..she knew I could not do that and she did nothing to help me and didn't care to..she was happy when I left MO. but not as happy as me..and the second vet was even worse than the first..however that was possible.

This animal clinic is awesome!! I love the health plan, the doctors and the staff. Everyone is always friendly and they remember my pets name. The groomer spoils her terribly. The health plan has saved me money that I wouldn't have been able to spend on my pet without it. I know she is in better health, from routine items to dentals and grooming. I have had to wait a time or two but I always have to wait for my doctor and they aren't as patient with me as the Veterinarian is with my dog.

I've NEVER had a bad expirence, ever. My puppy princess loves the vets and I believe we've seen all of them. I will mention that I've had to wait a time or two, but the service and care that the vets provide makes it all worth it. My Xenna gets very nervous and they put her at ease before they do anything! I love the plans that they offer as well, it makes it truely afordable to get everything done. We pay under $20.00 a month and there have been times when she's gotten into something and we were there four times that month--which would normally cost more than $150.00! You can't beat it.

PROS: Attitudes, level of caring, pricing and ability to drop off and pick up.
CONS: Size and number of office persons (NOT vets, but desk clerks).

I recently moved to Florida but still take my animals to AMC when I am visiting family in Kansas City. I have always had excellent care of my pets and service from the staff. The staff are kind and worked with me to treat my pets. Even though I live in Florida know due to the military moving us here but I still like taking my pets there because I know they will be well taken care of.

Several times we have gone in and been greeted by crabby front desk staff. They have a sign in sheet that reads, "Sign in and sit down please!" I felt like I was in grade school. Our satisfaction has been dependent upon which Dr. we saw, but you don't get a choice.
