Having taken lessons before, then starting here (where I've been a long time now), I found the teaching to be really good, especially compared to someone Guitar Center hooked me up with. There are several instructors with different styles, very knowledgable sales people, and an owner deeply invested in music. Take lessons weekly and you can do free groups (acoustic and electric) and play live (youth and adult opportunities). Everyone there is invested in learning (even the most skilled) and accepting of wherever you are in developing as a musician. There is no pressure to buy the retail product, but when you do, you get lots of support, time to decide and very fair pricing. This is an old style guitar shop - a place to learn, play and love guitar (and bass) with musicians of all skill levels.

Pros: Fantastic teaching, opportunity to playing live, in groups

First checked this place out due to a friends daughter taking lessons there. Liked at first but was drawn away by a rude employee (who I later found out might be the owner, though I'm not sure).

They don't have anything special here as far as inventory, but there are some knowledgeable instructors working there. Bottom line, I would just avoid.

Pros: halfway decent selection, some good teachers

Cons: poor customer relations
