My family and I have shopped at Vincent's for years and have always had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and I've been very happy with my purchases. I did have a small pave' stone fall out of my ring after several months. Leo fixed it, at no charge, while I waited. The customer service is excellent.

The level of service from Vincent's is above most other jewelers. From the moment I walked into this place I knew I had found something special. Here are a few important things that I noticed the first time I went in....

Clean store
Sales person was Friendly and Honest
Great Selection!!
I was offered something to drink
I was not pestered with aggressive sales tactics
Everyone there was nice and very knowledgable!!
The prices were very fair for what I was looking for
There were several options for me to choose from (like custom design).
I felt comfortable there

These guys are fantastic and I would highly recommend them.

As quoted by Vincent's Jewelers comment on themselves:
"We are different than most businesses, we don't hide or remove reviews. Real reviews is how you learn about a company. Many companies today make up and pad their reviews. You can easily spot these, as they all sound the same. "

I have reviewed Vincent's Jewelers negatively also on other sites. They might not "edit" these reviews--because they didn't post them and therefore cannot--but they will "remove them". To quote Mr. Anglo from his response to my review on another site:
"I can share many more of these "reviews" that she has posted, and were removed. "

The reviews were not removed by me. They were removed by him and Vincent's Jewelers complaining to the website.

His responses to my legitimate complaints devolved into attacks and claims I am attacking them maliciously. Clearly we disagree on the events that occurred. He told me to spend my time helping others because I could do some good. Aside from not knowing anything about me, he assumes I live to speak of them. Other than on review sites and when asked directly, I DON'T speak of them to prevent them from gaining even a drop of advertising. I don't think he understands that his experiences with customers aren't always the same experiences the customers have with him.

I am thrilled to have been finished dealing with them. I wanted to share my experiences, and every time I do I am met with negative attacks from them. He is not defending his business when he attacks a former customer, whether he agrees with their experiences or not.

I gave them several chances over several *years* to make things right. They couldn't do it. We could not come to agreements on anything. After a BBB complaint, they offered an offensive "refund" that would barely cover a tank of gas.

Response from this business:

On the issue she is talking about, she did not give us a chance to correct it, I never had a one on one with her about the situation and was unaware of any major problem until the complaint from the BBB arrived. I have not had any direct contact with her on this issue until this post. On the issue about using white gold solder in error, we immediately offered to remove the head and laser weld it using no solder. There were no pictures or negotiating as mentioned, but she decided to put it in a new style mounting, which had to be ordered in I tried to contact her directly after the Complaint from the BBB arrived, but she refused to discuss it. This is stated in the BBB documents for the case. It then went to Mediation with the BBB. The BBB requested alot of information to base their conclusion on. This included facts from the other jeweler she took it too for "repairs". It took 2 months for the review process to be complete After their review, "The BBB believes that your response adequately addresses the disputed issues and/or has exhibited a good faith effort to resolve the complaint" Some things should have been handled differently, but it is done

I have purchased a lot of jewelery from here, some of it custom work, and have been extremely pleased with all of it. They have some very expensive jewelery as well. Lots of professional athletes come here for their jewelry. I highly recommend this place.

PROS: experienced staff, great custom work, good value
CONS: some items are very expensive

RESPONSE to ""AstoldbyEva"", as this is the only way to respond.\n\nI sent Eva a direct response first. I exlplained that I can still take care of thie item for her. She has not replied, or come in as she stated ""This review stands until I see Leo on June 2."" I do have to ask, why even post a incomplete review, why not wait until the process is complete with the business. \n\nI discussed the ring on the phone before she came in (Spoke with her via phone, May 30 10:55am, as indicated in my log book), and I did give her the $23,00 to $26,000+ range (A range I still feel I can get for her). I indicated she needed to come and talk to me directly, as a tiffany ring like hers has more options, especially since she had the tiffany paperwork for the diamonds. \n\nWe discussed that a cash buy out was not a good alternative as it would yield her much less, but that I could execute the other options mentioned with in a week or two.. . . again indicated that I needed to look at her ring personally. We even discussed my schedule. \n\nWhen she came in, she did not mention to Charlie that She and I had spoke on the phone, as he could have looked at my notes in my log book. The breakdown for each diamond is listed in my log book from Our Phone conversation with a target base price for the diamonds only, as she did not know the weight of the platinum mounting when we spoke on the phone. \n\nI am glad that Charlie was pleasant and personable, I am also glad that he estimated the 3.58 carat total weight three round diamond ring at 3.51 carat total weight before the paperwork was presented. Any professional in the industry would love to be that accurate by measuring 3 mounted diamonds. \n\nShe let Charlie know at the end of her visit that she spoke with me on the phone. She also acknowledged that the prices we discussed on the phone were not a cash out buy price, but an amount I could get her utilizing one of the options at my disposal. She also acknowledged that we agreed that I needed to personally handle this item for her. \n\n\n \n Leo Anglo

I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience at Vincent's jewelers. While Charlie, the associate I dealt with was both pleasant and personable, I felt as if he sized me up & gave me what can only be described as an insulting offer for my ring.\n\nI brought in a 3.58 carat (total), 3 stone, round cut, Tiffany & Co. diamond engagement ring that is G colored, VS2 clarity, rated as an excellent cut and set in a .93 platinum band. It retailed for $46,300 about a year and a half ago and has all of the original certificates/paper work.\n\nI came in considering either selling/resetting & here is where it all went down the drain...\n\n1. He measured it at 3.51C before<< I told him I had the paper work and was intimately familiar with the specs; when I mentioned this little discrepancy, I was met with a resounding "" Well, I was pretty close"". He was NOT by any means rude but it certainly made me raise an eyebrow.\n\n2. He couldn't find the crown inscription on any of the 3 stones. Tiffany & Co. laser inscribes all of their diamonds & bands - which can be seen at 20x mag.\n\n3. He offered me $10,000 maybe $12,000 if I was very lucky - which I found rather curious seeing as how I was quoted a completely different price when I called earlier in the day with the same exact info ....and by different, I mean 26G to 30G vs his 10 - 12.\n\nIn all fairness, he found all 3 inscriptions after I rejected the offer and made it apparently clear that his offer was nowhere near the realm of legitimate consideration.\n\nWhile anyone who's done their research knows that Tiffany's has quite the markup and that selling to a jeweler means accounting for their costs, there is no way in hell, heaven or earth that someone can look you in the face and offer you 10G for a 46G ring with the above specifications and call themselves honest. \n\nIf anyone knows where I can find 3.5 carat G VS2 Tiffany diamond rings for 10g (heck I will even take 15) PLEASE let me know because I'd like to stock up......\n\nI will be returning on Saturday (June 2, 2012) to Leo (the manager?) but until then, this review shall remain as is. \n\nSeller beware

Recently, I went to Vincent's Jewelers to sell gold and had a wonderful experience. I felt the entire process was handled very professionally, but more importantly, I felt very comfortable that I got a more than fair quote - since I had checked several other places. Leo was informative, thorough and professional - and quickly gained our complete trust - he really knows his stuff. We have also purchased several things at Vincents and they have always been so great to work with. You all are a great team. We will be back! Thanks so much!

As far as I can tell this company specializes is buying stolen jewelry.\r\n\r\nOur home was robbed and the thief simply went down the street a few blocks and sold the merchandise at this supposed jewelry store. After Vincent

I have buying jewelery and having repairs done with Vincent's since 1990. I have always found them to be very professional and their pricing to better than the rest. They have always gone out of their way to make me happy and stand behind everything that they sell. Compare pricing for yourself and you will not be disappointed

I am the general manager of Vincent's Jewelers, I pride myself in the service we provide and the professionalism. I usually personally handle all items that have diamonds in them, as I am the main buyer for the store. speakthetruth888 came in on my day off. But I am not hiding behiind this fact. I will address the ""rudness"" with the employee, if true, it is unacceptable. As far as numbers, regretfully an appraisal means nothing, I can show you appriasals on homes done 2+ years ago, that the home can't sell for 1/2 the amount today. Jewery is no different. I have attempted to contact her directly, and will address the details with her first. If I don't hear from her, I will post the details here. \r\n\r\nADDED:\r\nI HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM THIS INDIVIDUAL: She brought in a 3 Marquise diamond ring set in 14k yellow gold that was I1 or lower in clarity. The other items she mentioned were gold filled items. We don't buy gold filled items. A 3 marquise diamond band is not in high demand nor are low quliaty marquise diamonds. The price offered reflects this. This was explained in detail, but she simply did not like the current environment for her type of jewelry.

If you would like to give your jewelry away for pennies on the dollar, then this is the place for you!!\r\nThese guys are extra rude with little to no communication on the jewelry they are appraising. I gave them a very nice ring with an appraisal of $5500 (paperwork in hand) and was given a buy value of $715!!! Outrageous!!! The other items I brought in were treated in the same manner! What a joke!! Stay away!!
