Butterfly House

You get to see so many beautiful butterflies in one place. The colors are gorgeous and there is a lot to look at. Both of my kids enjoy this outing. There is also a great carousel in Faust Part that we try to hit afterwards.

PROS:
CONS: Does not take more than 30 minutes to go through the house.

Our family loves going to the Butterfly House. It is simply breathtaking. There is a lot for the kids to do there aside from the actual butterflies. There is a great carousel right there that is amazing. There are several playgrounds and some historical buildings. Make sure to check for coupons. There are usually buy on get one free coupons available in various places.

I was somewhat skeptical about seeing butterflies, but the smile and awe on my daughters face put that to rest right away. The glass butterfly house seemed almost magical in displaying the butterflies and their natural habitat. The tours were informative and creative. It was a very good place to visit, especially with kids.

PROS: Beautiful setting for seeing butterflies
CONS: Gift shop is very expensive

Check out the coupon usually in the Entertainment book or on their website for great savings. Pack a picnic lunch and head out to the park to behold the beautiful butterflies inside - and be sure to stay and watch the transformation of the butterlfy in the theater.

This place is great for kids and adults. Before you go in you get a chart of butterflies with pictures and the kids try to find them. There are butterflies everywhere and they land on you. The only downfall is that it is so hot in here and humid. But, if you dress accordingly you'll be fine. This is a great learning experience for everyone. I would defintely recommend stopping in here for a day out with the kiddos.

This place is so cool to take your kids too. It only costs a few dollars and the kids love it. You walk into this greenhouse type room and there are butterflies everywhere. There is tons of them just flying all around you. It is so cool!!

The Butterfly House is a wonderful place to take children. This place is so beautiful when you walk in with all of the butterflies flying everywhere. The children love it because the butterflies are everywhere they will land all over on you and they are so neat to look at. This place is a really fun place for the kids and something educational for them too.

I did not know what to expect when I got off the bus when I was accompanying my son on his field trip in kindergarten a few years ago. I was amazed when we entered and found the display cases with the bugs.

I am not a big bug person, so looking at them through glass wasn't a top priority for me but I can tell you the kids were enjoying themselves.

Then we stepped into the butterfly room. All around us flew the most beautiful butterflies I had ever seen. They were landing on us, and in our hair. It was so thrilling, especially to the children.

A really nice place to visit when you are in the area.

This is fasinating. You walk through a glass dome area and butterflies are everywhere. they are flying, sitting on plants and the ground. They will land on you. Kids love this!

This is a very cool and unique experience. You will be very close to hundreds of Butterflies as you walk through there habitat. Many butterflies will land on you and fly all around as you walk through. Children love this!!!

This is a really nice place to visit, especially in the winter when you are needing a dose of green and warmth. They have a great variety of butterflies here and they many are very easy to spot and get a close view of.

However, I have to say that the Monsanto Insectarium at the Zoo is probably a little bit better, and although the actual butterfly conservatory there is smaller, there are quite a few more insects to see in displays.

But overall, if you are in the Chesterfield area, this is a nice place to check out.

This is the most beautiful place. You will see all kinds of butterflies here. They offer more than just tours. They also will rent out for weddings,graduations and other special occassions. This is a most see. It is very HOT but where else can you go to see so many different butterflies in one place. This is a AAAAA +++ place for sure located close to major highways
