I bought an Avalanche in August '08. Part of the purchase was the inclusion of a $500 "GM Business Choice" gift card because I'm a business owner and qualify. After three months, the card hadn't arrived. I called and talked to Bill McKeown - the sales manager. Bill said he'd resubmit my info. After another three months. I called again because I figured out they still hadn't submitted my VIN to the program. After several unreturned calls I got a call from Bill stating that I was supposed to register the vehicle in the company name, not mine. I told him that requirement wasn??t in any of the paperwork. I kept pressing the issue. His boss, Mike Jordan, later said that I didn't request it at the transaction because it wasn't on any of their paperwork. There were plenty of unanswered emails and phone calls in this process.

I took them to small claims court and won. Now they are refusing to send the amount of the award. I have to file a garnishment against their account at their bank.
Here's my case. Look into it. Barnett v Bommarito

Pros: Lots of hugs

Cons: Stab you in the back in the process

We bought a new car from Don Darr in 2006. We had originally placed a 200 holding fee on a car we were interested in, but when we got there, we discovered that that car was no longer available. The salesman implied that that was my fault as I gave them short notice.

We bought a car from them in the end because they were the only ones who had a car equipped the way we wanted. However, after reviewing the financing, we found out that they had never run the credit card for the 'holding fee' - hence the mixup.

A month later, we brought the car in for minor maintainence and repairs. Despite making an appointment in advance, and leaving the car with them all day, they could not 'get our car in' that day, and we had to leave it there for another full day.

Their prices are good, and their maintainence/repairs were done satisfactorily, but their service is very, very weak.

My recent quest to buy a Chevy brought me here. Nothing really special about this place. Everything is just about average. They weren't the best in price, selection, service, or friendliness but they weren't bad either. Saleman there made me wait too long but then they were quite busy the day I went. I would give them another chance on my next purchase but I bought my Chevy from another dealer instead this time around.

When we began looking for a new car for my husband, we did our homework before walking onto the lot and heard nothing but good things about Bommarito Mazda.

Immediately upon entering the lot, we were greeted by a salesman, but after we told them we'd like to look around by ourselves, he left and told us to come to him with any questions. When we decided which auto we wanted, he offered to let us test drive it ourselves and then gave us the keys and told us to drive it for as long as we needed to try it out!

Upon returning and letting him know that we were interested in it, he sat us down and we began negotiating. They were very open about letting us see their dealer invoice and we got a very, very good deal on the car.

We had secured our own financing, so that wasn't an issue with them. We did have to wait a bit when we returned the next day to do the paper work, but after an hour we finally on our way. They followed up to make sure we were happy and they still send us great coupons for service work.
