Summit Pet Care is the only place I would ever consider taking both my cat and dog. For the past nine years my pets have been coming to Summit Pet Care. Every stay outshines the last. My dog loves all the workers and enjoys her stay. I know that when I am out of town, Summit Pet Care has my pets best interest at heart. They treat my pets as if they were their own, that's why I trust them. I call to check on them while I am gone, they give me a full report of how they are eating and if my dog is using the cool doggie door on the indoor/outdoor, and how my cat is "tolerating" the other cats :-) They are always both so excited to come home, but I know Summit Pet Care is the next best thing!! Can you believe that my dog actually likes to be boarded up. Must be the doggie day care that Summit pet care provides. Love seeing the report card and finding out the he is a swimmer. Ask for the indoor and outdoor kennel for only $3 more per day.
I recently took my 3 dogs to be boarded. I took them there on a Friday at 8:00. Told I could pick them up after 1:00 pm the following Monday. I picked them up at 2:00 pm...they tried to charge me for another full day. The owner took of the extra day, but another woman was stating I signed a paper that I would be there after 1:00.
Well I thought 2:00 was after 1:00. So I am not sure what they mean by after 1:00 pm.

my wife and I have been taking our 2 dogs to summit pet care ever since we moved back to lee's summit over a year ago...our golden retrievers get so excited when we arrive in the morning...the staff there treats them GREAT....It's been th ebest place for our dogs and we KNOW that they are getting plenty of attention and play time...highly recommend !!
i have been coming to summit pet care for almost a year now and i have never had any problems with this business they have always been very nice and helpfull and i know my animals are taken care of!
I've used Summit Pet Care in the past, and have been moderately happy. This time however was ridiculous. The staff is very unfriendly both at drop off and pick up. The attendants couldn't find my dogs and had to have me help them find them when I came to pick them up. They don't let the dogs in and out on a in/out run so don't pay extra for that. My dogs really stunk when I picked them up... I don't even think they were let outside. They ""claim"" they let the dogs out twice a day, which is a lie especially on Sundays. I won't be back.
My son's dogs spent the weekend with Summit Pet Care and left with a chunk missing. I went in to pick them up for him and they didn't seem to be aware that the dogs were there. Then, they overcharged and underserviced. I will never take any of my animals there and my son will certainly never take his animals there again. I even talked with the owner and she only made more excuses. very sad business.
