Don't go to KAH unless you want to be spoken to in a very patronizing manner.

I chose this place because of the reviews it's gotten so far, but after I went there I feel the responsibility to speak up because I GREATLY DISAGREE. Sure, the place looks nice probably because they overcharge so much they can afford to keep up appearances, and they keep in touch while you're lining their pockets, but as soon as you have a complaint they are quick to be ""on vacation.""

Why do I say this? I took my new puppy in and expressed a few normal, new pet-owner concerns and instead of reassuring me that the puppy was healthy (which he s and was, as confirmed by a second vet) they ran a bunch of expensive tests without reaching a diagnosis, then prescribed even more expensive medication for a condition he doesn't even have!

Furthermore, I brought in his vaccination record as requested, but they FAILED TO LOOK AT IT, told me he was missing an extremely important one, and gave him a booster for something he was up to date on! I called them after realizing their mistake, didn't get a response until over a week later, and then they tried to justify it after-the-fact with all sorts of excuses, like the fact they didn't trust the record I brought in, or they were just trying to save me having to come back in again. The thing is, I would have gladly come back in to ensure that the vaccine was given at the RIGHT TIME, but I WASN'T GIVEN THE OPTION. They were too busy trying to sell me books and training classes to check a simple vaccination record.

Needless to say, they won't be seeing me or my dog again.

I wouldn't trust the care of my dogs to anyone else. Compassion and expertise are the hallmarks of Kingsbury. I give them my highest endorsement.

Kingsbury Animal Hospital treated our dogs wonderfully when they were mauled. When one of them died, they let me be the one to close his eyes. They have a lot of compassion for both animals and owners.

Kingsbury Animal Hospital is the favorite vetinarian of several of my neighbours and colleagues. They know you and your pet by name, and take a genuine interest in your pets health and local rescues. They provide excellent service and care. Unfortunately, they have limited hours, from 8 to 6.30 and are not always open on the weekends, so I cannot use them as my regular vetinary service. They also do not provide after hours service for emergencies.

From time to time, they post special adoption cases on their website, which makes it seem like they really do care about their animal patients.
