An absolute nightmare; apparently the drivers are trained in 99 reasons not to pick up trash, similar to the post office training. I have had them drive past looking at my yard waste bundled <50 lb. <48 inches with string not wire, all BS rules satisfied and this idiot rolls by looking at it! I immediatly call tho office and within fifteen minutes the truck is backing down the street towards my yard. The driver fusses about <50 lb. <48 inches with string not wire, and then calls his boss. Guess what shows up in a pickup truck with a tape measure. The sticks were bundled appropriatly and I had two duchebags on the clock for well ofer the 2.5 minutes it took to throw the stuff into the truck. Who has time to stay home on trashday to insure their trash is removed?

In an effort to eliminate confrontation with these idiots I awarded them my checking acct's auto draft. Out of nowhere I get a letter from a collections company for not paying my trash bill. I'm in collections because they didn't take the money out of a checking acct as they had previously been doing.

Most recently, I've had the good fortune of vacant house ownership. The only trash in my vacant house was delivered by the mail man. In 18 months he filled the kitchen 10 gallon basket twice. Do I really need to pay the same flat rate as a family with a half a dozen kids? The answer is yes! According to their monopoly with the municipality anyone who refuses payment is elligable to have a lein put on their house. Can you imagine someday the market improves to become worth my selling the house and these dopes get $40 per quarter + whatever admin fee they make up before the tax paying citizen gets access to his own investment!

Totally unsatisfied!

We had just moved to the area recently and we were doing yardwork. My husband and I cut about 10 small twigs off a bush in our back yard. We normally don't fill up our oversized container, so we simply dropped the twigs into the trashcan. (these twigs were the flimsy kind you couldn't even roast marshmallows on)

To our dismay, this company picked out all 10 twigs from our trash, laid them in front of our mailbox, and taped a note to it saying "no lawn waste."

We thought it was pretty ridiculous for them to rifle through our trashcan and pick out individual twigs.

Also, they have lots of misc. charges for things that other trash companies do not charge for. We found out that they charge extra for any amount of lawn waste pickup, bulk service and recycling. Our previous trash company from out of state offered a service for all of those things with one standard fee.

Finally, this company missed picking up our trash twice since we've had service for the past month.

Good customer reps on the phone, though, they are very helpful. However, there are so many rules (that they apparently adhere to very strictly) and regulations that this is more hassle than it's worth.

PROS: Good customer service on the phone
CONS: They will pick out any fragment of nature from your trash can and leave it

This is a decent company for trash and waste removal. Their prices are reasonable, and they do have fairly consistent pickup times during the week, so you aren't guessing too much as to when to put your trash out.

I have read that they do have a lot of complaints from people, but we have not had a problem. The one time that they didn't pick up the trash, I called and they had someone pick it up within a few hours.
