I would have to agree with the previous reviewer on the Brick House. While the concept and atmosphere is great the food is lacking. However, the drinks from the bar and their chocolate deserts are great! I haven't been there for lunch but the dinner foods are usually brought out too dry and often too cold. I will say though that they service is fantastic!

So, I really like the idea and concept of this restaurant. It's a cool little pub in downtown Smithville. But the food quality is a little disappointing for the price. They have really good fried mushrooms. The hamburgers, which is what you would usually eat at a place like this for, are pretty small and only cooked extra extra well done. They end up being pretty rubbery. It's still a fun neighborhood place to meet up with friends for drinks, but I would only recommend their appetizers. They're not as expensive as their lunch/dinner food and most of them taste a lot better.
