.

when i went to crowder college the teachers were very nice and they knew what they were talking about. if you did bad on an assingment then they offered extra credit and helped you with your grades or if you didn't understand something then they would schedule youa time to come in and talk with them about an assingment. they all about someone making the grades and getting the scholarships so they will go far in life. they are not in it for the money!!!!!!!!!!! thats why i would reccomend someone to go to crowder.

Crowder College in Neosho is a junior college housed in buildings once part of the Ft. Crowder Army post. The campus has expanded in recent years to include new dormitories, the Elsie Plaster Center that includes a large stage and auditorium, and other buildings.

Two-year degrees are offered in various areas but the college offers much more. One year certificates in vocational areas that range from business to welding are also offered. The college also operates a truck driving training program that is known nationally and a nursing program that is highly respected throughout the area.

An Associate of Arts degree from Crowder transfers well to other four-year institutions in most cases but students are well-advised to know the requirements for graduation at Crowder and what is required at the school they plan to attend to further their education.

The cost is moderate - not quite as high as area universities and four year colleges - and the campus has become more attractive than in early years when it rose out of the remains of a Army post.

Students are a mix of traditional post high school students and non-traditional students who have returned to college or began their education after a long delay.

Faculty here knows the students individually and many have fine educations that they've brought to a small college to share.

PROS: Moderate cost, quality education, and attractive campus
CONS: Lacks the university experience of larger schools
