Karen's Cafe

Karen's Cafe' is a delightful find in Arnold. It is near shopping, movie theaters and kids activities. My son and I stopped there on Father's Day after church and were pleasantly surprised at the family friendly atmosphere. Their decor of Coca-Cola antiques and clean white walls transforms one back to the 50's-(not that I'm from that era). My son ordered a full order of biscuits and gravy which was loaded full of sausage and more than he could eat. I had the steak sandwich and a salad. Both were good--although the steak was a little on the gristly side---it was cooked as ordered and wonderful for the price. We left there happy and full and still had money for other activities--The ice tea was cold and the soda was bottomless. Although I never got a refill, my son had three or four. The best part of the entire experience was the cheerful atmosphere of the other patrons and of the staff. I rate this restaurant a 3 1/2 star rating.

Here is a nice restaurant you can go to for breakfast or lunch. I don't think they are open for dinner. They have breakfast, not a real extensive menu, and they serve sandwiches. I have had both and they were very good. The atmosphere is very casual and the employees are friendly.
