Best Chevy Dealer in Kansas City. I was looking to buy a used car as quickly as possible. The car I was driving had a clutch going out and numerous other problems and I was planning a long road trip in a few days. I originally visited Van Chevrolet and had problems from the very beginning. My experience with VAN ended quickly after one of their finance reps called and started harassing me at work, pressuring me to take a loan at 15.9% and said I was foolish if I thought I could find anything at a lower rate. They kept yanking me around with the loan and then with the car. I went to Van on a Thursday and I needed to drive home in a car by Saturday. Saturday morning and still haven't heard anything from them. My friend had a similar experience with Van and ended up going to Heartland and had a wonderful experience. She recommended me to Bill Kopp. She sent him an e-mail telling him about the experience I had so far, what I was looking for and what I could afford. He called me after work and we set up a time for me to come in Saturday morning.

From the very second I arrived it was a completely different experience. There weren't people outside waiting to pounce as soon as I stepped out of my car. There was one gentleman outside smoking and he(from a distance) asked if I was there for Bill. When I stepped into his office, he already had everything ready for me. I knew what I was looking for and he had a beautiful, fully loaded Chrysler Pacifica waiting for me to test. I drove it, loved it and came in to start doing the paper work. There wasn't any pressure. As an added bonus, I was there with my two children(boys, 6 and 7) by myself and one of the other salesmen took it upon himself to ask if he could give my boys a tour of the showroom while I filled out my papers. I was hesitant at first, but my boys loved it! Instead of being treated like scum for bringing my kids with me, I was treated like family. After their tour, the gentleman took them over to a table and gave them some donuts and water. I did not have to negotiate on my deal at all. They gave me a very good price on my trade(without me having to ask them to bump it up 3 times like I did with Van) and they lowered the price of the Chrysler so I could have payments in an affordable range. They took me over to see where the service area was so when I take my car in for it's free oil change I will know where to go. The gentleman at the service center was absolutely wonderful. He knew my name ahead of time and offered my kids a lollipop and showed them(and me, but he made the kids feel like it was just them)around the service center.

I was in and out of Heartland Chevrolet in record time and they were able to accomplish in less than 3 hours what Van Chevrolet hadn't accomplished in 3 days!

I got a great vehicle from Heartland, but more importantly I received excellent service. I will never visit another car dealership again. I hope that they never close because they have earned my business for life.

Would NOT recommend this dealership for purchasing a vehicle, service OR body work. They are extremely rude and every time I have taken my car in to get serviced, which is every week (I just bought it 2 months ago from them) I get it back

This place is awful. Do not take your car here for service. I brought my car to Heartland and they put the wrong parts on the car! I had to diagnose the problem, order and pay for the right parts. The warranty work is horrible and can not

I was recently in the market for a new GM vehicle. While I was on vacation in the North East I decided to stop by a local GM dealership to see if I could get a better deal there rather then where I live. I came in to the dealership in Brattleboro vt. (sorry don't remember the name) they kinda refused to give me any info on pricing if I didn't test drive a vehicle in stock before hand. I instructed the sale woman that I didn't require a test drive because i currently own a Yukon and have already drove one back home. After about 20 mins or so a tall sales manager came to me trying to put some pretty lame sales tactics on me.... He stated his name was Ken Ohler and in our conversation he has just moved to the area from New Mexico.... Well more small talk incurred then I asked since he was the manger if I could please get his numbers on a Yukon in stock. At this point he told me no and I decided that a deal was not in the making. So my wife and I left and went on our way. As we were getting to our vehicle he came out and stopped us before getting into our vehicle. He explained tried to explain to me that they have a system in place and that I had to follow it to get what I wanted. I responded by telling him that it was not a big deal that we were on vacation and didn't think we were going to buy while on vacation anyways. At that point his voice started to raise and he seemed to get upset with that. He then stated to me in a loud voice so many people on the lot could hear him... WELL THANKS FOR WASTING OUR TIME TODAY! DON'T YOU HAVE SOMETHING BETTER TO DO THEN WASTE OUR TIME..... then walked off... I looked at my wife and we got into our vehicle and proceeded to the exit. As we were leaving he continued to yell other things to us thru the window. I couldn't make out most of the things he said... My conversation with my wife is I couldn't believe that just happened. We are from a city of 2 million + and we wouldn't get that type of treatment there... This was a town maybe 10-15,000.... Well this "KEN OHLER" guy must have really ran from Kansas if he has to hide in the North East....

Brought my truck in for problems. Was told what the repairs would cost & was pleased to have no surprises when I picked it up. Truck runs great. New manager in service dept, Bill....great guy to deal with. Would highly recommend.

I CALLED FOR A QUATE AND THEY TOLD ME ONE NUMBER. 425 WOULD BE THE MAX FOR THE BLOWER MOTER AND LABOR. I AM IN A CONFERENCE AND THEY WILL CALL YOUR HOME NUMBER TO TRY AND GET A HOLD OF YOUR WIFE AND TELL HER ALL THESE OTHER THINGS NEED TO BE REPLACED WITH THE MOTOR AS WELL. TOTAL BILL JUST TO REPLACE BLOWER MOTOR. $547.23. CALLED CHRISTIAN BROTHERS JUST A COUPLE BLOCKS AWAY 221.80 PARTS AND LABOR. SO OVER 325 DOLLARS DIFFERENCE.

Heartland Chevrolet is one of the best dealerships in the area. My wife & I have purchased several trucks over the years & have always come away happy. The employees seem to be dedicated to quality & will go the extra mile needed to make sure all customers are completely satisfied. Their prices & service can't be beat!!
From what I observed when I bought my last vehcle, Ken Ohler was not an asset to the place & I don't think he lasted very long. (I didn't think he would from what I saw) I did, however, have contact with Ms. Saunders on several occations and she was always very friendly & professional. I guess she can't be too stupid if she's still working there & Mr. Ohler is not!

Purchased a 2002 Corvette. Paid Cash & traded a used vehicle. 8 days after purchased, the vehicle's electrical system quit. Dealership suggested we trade out, however, when new management arrived, they stated my vet depreicated $8,000 in 3 months. The car has been in for repairs on and off for the past 4 months. I have emailed the owner, Mr Tedd Potts numerious times and he has yet to respond. The manager stated "file a suit, my boss loves a good fight". All we want was a vehichle that works. Ken, the Manager in training, who is the only person we could get a hold off, was of no help. He would never return phone calls, he would lie to us, he never once apologized and never followed up. If you want a vehicle that looks really good but doesn't run...Heartland Chevrolet is the place to buy.
