I used Midway back in June 2006 because it was the most affordable from the different companies I looked at during that time. They came out the same day I called, which at the time I thought was great. Once they left, a couple of days later, I had a different problem. So of course I called them again to get someone out ASAP, because it was very hot. One month and 1/2 later, I called them because of the same problem. I phoned on a Friday night because this company is suppose to have 24 hours service call. At the time I was calm, because the problem just happened. The phone operator informed me she will page a service technician. Saturday, I waited around all day, and no one phone me back, so I called again. The phone operator informed me she will page the service technician. By the time Sunday came, I was so upset (because my son is asthmatic and I could not raise the windows due to the inflammation of his asthma) I did not bother to call the company because apparantly they lied and do not have 24 hours service call. Monday morning I phoned to get someone out ASAP. I was very upset, however, no foul language or begrading was used. I explaine about my son. The receptionist was like you can save $55.00 by just doing it yourself. I informed her the last time they were here no one showed me how to do it so I need someone out. the service tech phoned, I explained the same thing and he said I was out of town so I wouldn't of fixed it anyway until Monday. I told him I do not want to listen to excuses and I need someone to fix it. He said we will not tolerate your complaints. I said, I do not want to use your services any longer. I experienced excuses with this company before, but I still used them because of the low prices. After speaking with several other Heating and Cooling companies, my lesson learned is you pay for what you get. So customers, be aware of this company.
