My office was robbed so we contacted this company for an alarm system, everything seemed to go fine until we decided we wanted to go with another monitoring company, one that was local. We called to cancel the contract well in advance. I

I have an ademco vista 10SE that was already mounted in my home. The phone needed to be wired up, door sensor replaced, and a radio backup added. These items have now cost me over $480 in instalation charges, with 3 sevice calls to get this done. {one was only required}. I'm mentally and physically disabled. I have only $1,000 a month to live off of. Plus I've been without a car for a year because it needs expensive repairs. This company has set me back over 3 months towards getting my car fixed. They scam their customers for sevice fees, they dont honor their contract or vebal agreements, they put you on hold while you are trying to cancel a false alarm with the police on their way, and any contact my mail needs to be sent by certified mail or they will claim they never received it. What they do is screw up the instalation on purpose so the system malfuctions. They see their deliberate mistakes as your problem.
I truely regret not looking into customer reviews before signing up for a 3 year contract. My system is still not right. I hope others will be wiser than me.

DO NOT USE Interface Security. Interface Security is untrustworthy and provides terrible customer service. I have written to Michael Shaw, Mike McLeod and Chris Honigman, the President, COO and VP of Sales regarding mistakes made by Interface. None of them responded. I did receive a letter for someone named B. Modglin, his response was in red and very belligerent. This company is inept, dishonest and is not capable of monitoring properly. Interface, to mention a few mistakes, have called in the middle of night regarding a non-emergency, installed lesser equipment even though a higher spec equipment was paid for, and let faceplate exposed with wires sticking out.
