This is the place we go to for Fathers day, Mothers day, Birthdays . . you name it. It's very nice. It's a little pricey, but worth it. They have delicious Italian food.

My dad grew up in St. Charles, and always recounts his nights at Pios, meeting with "the guys" to share a pizza and some pop. Now they have expanded and we visit as a family. The food is good, the atmosphere friendly, and your waiter is often one of the family owners. Many times when we are there people are celebrating in large groups for a baptism, graduation, etc. My cousins rented the rooms upstairs for a first communion party, and everything was great! They had a buffet of appetizers and pizza along with a cash bar outside the room. I would consider using this place for a party or just a Friday night dinner.

The pizza was great (if you like thin crust). My boyfriend loves the veal parmesian...its breaded veal with a red sauce. I would not recommend the lassagna...it was very bland. The ambience is nice and its a great date place if you are older. The service was pretty good...we got our food pretty fast and the prices are average. Overall a good, family owned restaurant.

If you love bleu cheese dressing, GO TO PIO'S! Makes for a great salad! Real bleu cheese topped on a delicious creamy dressing!

Find it to be overrated by the local folks. Very old, unkept looking. As for Italian, well the sauce is more like FrancoAmerican. Pizza is definately St. Louis style, not my style!

give Pio's a try, you won"t regret it!!

Pio's Restaurant is a landmark in St. Charles. Pio's was my parents' favorite restaurant, and now thirty years later, it's my favorite. The food is wonderful and a good value. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, and the service is terrific.
Pros: Pleasant Atmosphere, Excellent Service, Good Food

Pio's is one of my favorite places to eat at. I think it's one of the city's hidden treasures. The food and service are excellent and it's a great alternative to the everyday "chain" restaurants. The atmosphere is intimate and you can actually sit and have a conversations without having to yell across the table. The staff is always friendly and helpful as well. The best thing on the menu is the pizza. It's a family recipe that is wonderful!
Pros: good portion sizes, family oriented, quiet atmosphere

Whenever my husband blunders I look at him and say, "pink and Pio's" which is code for pink roses and dinner at Pio's. Pio's is a family owned restaurant which is easily felt in the atomsphere. In the 10 years I have been going there I have never had bad service or food. I would highly encourage you to have the shrimp cocktail and peppered tenderloin for two with the baked potato with all the fixings they have a wonderful seasoned sour cream and a salad. your in luck if you like bleu cheese dressing it's fresh and the bleu cheese is piled high. I encourage you enjoy one of st. louis' great secrets.
Pros: reasonable price, large variety, any occassion
