The pasta dishes are all pretty good. Don't even bother ordering a steak or Veal. Everyone says the liver is awesome but I've never tried it myself. Good luck finding a place to park.

Pros: Great Lasagna

Cons: Overpriced for what you get

This is the quintessential neighborhood mom and pop Italian restaurant in South St. Louis. You won't find tourists here but tons of locals who know a bargain when they see one. This is a great family place. I had the special salad upon my friend's enthusiastic recommendation. It was a wondeful excuse to eat lost of delicious salami and cheese. Trust me, it's delicious. The pastas are delicious and come in huge portions. Many of them can easily feed two people. Also, the flounder and veal are excellent. This place will never be featured in Gourmet magazine, but it's a great value and cultural treasure for St. Louis.

Recently visited Giuseppe's for the first time and tried two of their signature dishes: Beef Spedini and Scallops. Both were of an acceptable quality, but nothing spectacular. Salad had a bit much oil for our tastes. Atmosphere is straight out of the sixties, but very clean and kind of fun in a retro way. Staff was outstanding. I'll definitely give them kudo's for trying to please. I'll probably go back for one more shot. It's the kind of place I'd like to support.

We recently visited Giuseppe's and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was outstanding and the service was very prompt. They have done some new remodeling and the atmosphere is great. They have also added a new parking lot. For those of you who have never been there, you should try it out. You'll be glad you did!
Very Affordable and Tasty!
