Took in my car for a inspection, they said it needed a new tie rod and as it had "excessive play" turns out the old one was perfect, I replaced it anyways so I could pass the inspection, they wanted like a $160.00 installed, I replaced it

Don't rely on the first rating, just an unhappy and uninformed customer. This place is great to go to. They tell you what you need done and tell you what you can put off for a while in case you're in a tight money situation. I've been going to these people for over 7 years now and they've never let me down. In fact a large amount of my family also bring our cars to this place because it's the few trusted places we feel comfortable bringing our cars to. I'm not saying I'm an expert on cars but I've been through a tech school for auto service and can tell they are true to their work ethic. As long as they stay open I plan on bringing my cars there.

It's always about ""what else is wrong"" with these guys. I had a dealer tell me my Monte Carlo needed a water pump and I limped it home to avoid dealer cost. My mechanic agreed about a water pump but was backed up and I dropped it off at this Plaza Tire. They informed my wife it was an intake gasket not a water pump, charged $1100.00 and as the car was pulled off their lot it poured its water out and went right back in to have (surprise) a water pump put on it. And the friggin water pump cost over $400 and the car had to go right back when it became obvious the car now had no heat! These people are pro's ONLY at separating \r\nyou from your money. They count on the attorney general being too busy and requirements to prove them wrong being so expensive. No morals at all. And no class.\r\n\r\nNeither they nor their office would do anything about it, saying my wife has approved the repair based on the phone call.

Cons: Yes, they are cons. And good at it while being good at nothing you pay for
