My husband and I went to Cravings on 03/29/14 at approximately 3:00pm. We enjoy searching for small local businesses to support and decided we would try Cravings for an afternoon treat. I have never been made to feel like I was so "beneath" someone in all of my life! The customer service was terrible. I even commented on how good the cake was and he so rudely said, "I should think so, it is award winning." The coffee that I had was stale, though my husband had an espresso and he stated that it was okay. My husband and I are both in law enforcement so on the weekends we like to dress comfortably in jeans, but regardless service should not depend on the way someone looks. The decor left something to be desired as the booths were uncomfortable pews and my 6 1/2 ft. husband did not fit. The prices were high considering the terrible customer service, decor that could only be described as kitschy "chic", and the stale coffee. However in their defense, the cake itself was good. Though not good enough to ever make me want to go back.

What a disappointment. We went for dinner and had a mediocre meal, very small servings of the pasta and risotto meals, bread without butter, and one person was not served until several were almost finished. In the past this was one of our favorites. Go for dessert - not dinner.

Their deserts are great, their dinner food was not. We went there twice to give it a second chance. The first time they were busy so we excused the bad service and cold food. The second time it wasn't busy, but the food was not worth the money we paid for it in the least. The deserts were great, but again, not worth the money we paid altogether. Don't go here for dinner!!!!

After eating at great restaurants all over the US and even the world, this little-known cafe in Old Webster stands out as a quiet, friendly and warm place to have a truly wonderful meal. The chef travels the world (including Paris) to find dishes that will bring you back time after time. The deserts are the best, but the goat cheese salad and most of the entrees are 'to die for'.

We drive from Nashville, TN to eat here. Does that tell you how good it is?!

Pros: Best ever desserts, owners are among wait, excellent "new" wines

Cons: pricey, not in my city

The food here is fantastic!! Talk about an expirence. It started with good wine to good appetizers to an even better entree. Then to finish it off the best dessert I have ever had in my life. I had the lime-berry bombe. I could eat it every day. This is a must go to place and not just once you have to try everything

Cravings used to mean one thing: desserts. No longer. Tim Brennan has spent a quarter-century selling his desserts here, but he has officially expanded his business' catering arm into a full-fledged restaurant. Students, businessmen and…
