We LOVE Rich and Charlies in Eureka! The manager is always attentive as well as the staff. We used them for catering and they were on time and the food was scarfed! Everyone LOVED the food. We adore the fried cheese! BEST around! We love the place and eat there often...AND THEY DELIVER TO EUREKA RESIDENTS! YAY! You must pay a visit!
If you love Italian food, this is a great, fast place to get a good meal in Eureka. The service is usualy above average. The food always comes out nice and hot. It is a little dark (lighting) for my taste, I prefer it to be lighter, but most Italian places are the same, so can't really complain too much there. Got the 9.95 special. The fried/toasted ravs were dry and tasteless; the toasted cannoli bites were a bit better, but the breading is not tasty.
My pasta, penne ronzio was supposed to have mushrooms and peas - I think I found 3 peas. Scott got baked mostaccioli in meat sauce. The sauce may have been passed over some meat, but that's it. When the waitress came by to ask about it, we told her. Eventually the mgr (?) came out. They did give us 20% off and 2 desserts that we took home which were really good. But will we go back there? Nope!
Pros: Good salad and dessert
Cons: Pasta was very lacking -- not much taste at all.
UPON ENTERING THE RICH & CHARLIES IN EUREKA WE WERE WOWED BY THE ATMOSPHERE BY A RESTAURANT LOCATED IN A STRIP CENTER. VERY WARM DECOR TOPPED OFF WITH A ANTIQUE BAR.
THE SERVICE WAS ABOVE AVERAGE WITH YOUNG, BUT ATTENTIVE STAFF. THE SALAD STILL THE BEST IN TOWN. WE HAD A CHICKEN DISH AND A PASTA-TUSCAN CHICKEN -THAT WAS OUTSTANDING!
Pros: ATMOSHERE, FOOD, GOOD PARKING
This Rich and Charlies in Eureka in no way compares to the other restaurants of the same name. Old favorites just don't have that Rand C taste. The manager is unpleasant and when we complained that the Pasta Con Brocolli was missing the mushrooms, he told us they were in it! We won't be back. If you're visiting Six Flags and wanted to top off the day with an old Italian favorite, drive back to St. Louis. This place doesn't deserve the name.
Cons: poor food quality, argumentative manager
