I wanted to get my hair cut short but stylish and add some new color and highlights and went to Cory at Napoli. He was great at choosing the hairstyle, I trusted him with the color and I love my new hairstyle! It's been years since I've had a haircut that I have actually loved, and finally found the place I'll be coming back to again. The price is on the higher end but worth every penny.

I've been a thick & curly haired Aveda salon devote way back to the Horst days in Minnesota when I was maybe 9 years old. After I moved to St. Louis about 5 years ago, my quest for that ever illusive great cut that could go straight or curly and grow out well between cuts began. About a year ago, a friend suggested I give John, owner of Napoli a shot. She said he was fantastic, fair priced AND was fun to talk to. I figured why not. I was tired of paying a boat load to be disappointed at exclusive curly hair & other expensive salons that felt mass marketed to me. I gave John a shot & was so happy that I booked him to style my hair for a wedding I was in 6 weeks later. Being the lazy person I am, I have not had my hair cut in the year since then, but returned last night. It is the first salon I have actually returned to since my move and I am happy to say I have ended my salon quest at Napoli Design Salon. It is a cozy salon in a cute area. The fact that this is not just a job, but a passion was more than obvious when I admitted I know nothing beyond pony tails and flat irons and John asked me to tell him everything and he LISTENED. He said "I want to know everything you do to your hair." We discussed my daily washing, products and irritated scalp. He told me how to care for both my scalp and my curly hair, and once again I received a GREAT cut that requires the minimum styling AND he showed me a way to style my hair in the mornings before work that has resulted in more compliments on my hair today then I've received since he styled my hair for the wedding last November. I really don't know John well, but he has a way of making a person feel warm and welcome and right at home in a matter of moments. I could tell the other stylists have the same talents from the other guests chatting and laughing with their stylists at the same time. If you too are on that salon quest, give Napoli a shot. You'll never need to cross your fingers walking into a salon again!

Cons: Really, there are none!

Napoli Design Salon is one of the best salon's I have ever been to. It is layed back, friendly, and in a great part of town! Each and every stylist is trainied and caring, and will do whatever it takes to ensure you look and feel great when you leave! Dason is AMAZING, and I don't think I will ever have someone else cut or color my hair again! I first starting going to Napoli/Dasonwhen I lived in St. Louis, and then I moved to Illinois, but it was worth the drive. I now live in NC, and plan my visits back to St. Louis just so I can get my hair done! I am getting married in December, and of course Dason will be doing my hair, and Jessica will be doing my makeup, and I am sure both will look amazing! If anyone is in need of a fabulous salon this is the place for you!!!!!

Napoli Design Salon has been nothing but great to me. Even though I have to drive a little bit out of my way to get there it is definately worth the drive, and that means a lot even with gas prices the way they are today! They always listen to me when I tell them what i am looking for, and when I don't know what i want, they always know just what to do to make me look good. And let me tell you, I have never had a pedicure or a manicure before, i guess being a guy it never occured to me to get one, but Casey gave me my first, and i loved it! I go back now and everytime i get my hair done i get a mani pedi too! Guys i suggest you try one too. it's unlike anything ever. Great ownership, friendly and professional staff, great location and flawless results. Thanks Napoli!

John Napoli ,the owner of Napoli Hair Salon, is an outstanding, consistent hair cutter and colorist.' I have always struggled with hair that is thick, frizzy and difficult to work with. Now because of the way John cuts my hair and with two products he recently recommended to me the look and feel of my hair has changed dramatically. He is easy to work with and will give you excellent, honest suggestions on what will and will not work for your hair. He does an incredible job with color also. Everyone I have sent to John has been thrilled and have become clients for life. His salon is a warm, welcoming place and his staff is top notch.
