First class restaurant and Supper Club! We drive an hour and a half to eat here and have never been disappointed. The onion rings are out of this world as well as the desserts. Thick cuts of meat brought to your table and served off the cart.
Great service and ambience, a little pricey, but you get what you pay for, you won't be dissappointed.
Highly recommend!

In the former mining town of Bevier, five miles west of Macon, MO, is a restaurant called The Pear Tree. The fare is absolutely outstanding.
Saturday's menu is my personal favorite, as the vegetable du jour is Glazed Baby Carrots. The prawns are to die for, the salad, with its three homemade dressings is fabulous, and the onion rings are like none I've tasted anywhere else. The menu also features homemade ice cream, churned fresh daily.
Entrees range from around $12 for the chicken to $25 for the steak and lobster, but it's money well spent and not missed.
As mentioned by the previous reviewer, both reservations and the light jacket are definitely recommended!
Bevier may have originally been a coal and lead mining town, but once you've eaten at The Pear Tree, you'll know you've struck Gold!
