Cicero's Restaurant

I've enjoyed my meal every time I've been here, I just haven't been "overwhelmed" by it. The food arrives quickly, and there seems to be lots of stuff going on. A big college hang-out in the Delmar "Loop."

This place is wonderful. Wonderful servers, wonderful beer selection, wonderful desserts. The best desserts. Wonderful food. Great prices, we always eat there before seeing a show at the Pageant. And you can see shows there too.

I've been here on several "first dates" as well as just when out with good friends. I'd probably rate this place with 5 stars instead of 4, except I have a lot of memories of long waits to get seated at a table.

To me though, Cicero's has all the right stuff under one roof. Great food (whether you just want to split a big pizza, or you want something a little fancier like the grilled salmon), pool tables (and not the bar-room ones that eat your quarters either), and live bands. Can't really complain.

PROS: Great food, live music, pool tables.
CONS: Long waits for seating.
