I purchased my vehicle on February 28th 2012. Everyone was friendly and very helpful up until I drove the vehicle off the lot. They instantly went from "The Dealer with a Heart" to not caring about me. I drove the vehicle about 15 miles outside of St. Joseph on the way home when the low oil light came on. I pulled over in Savannah, MO to check the oil level. My vehicle, they let me drive off the lot, was 2.5 quarts low on oil. It is incredibly dangerous to have a vehicle running that low on oil. I know there wasn't a leak or anything else wrong with the car because I purchased and added the 2.5 quarts of oil in Savannah the oil level has been fine (driven over 300 miles). The second issue I have with Cecil Myers is the lack of customer service post-vehicle-purchase. I tried contacting them 6-7 times, I was ignored. The customer service I have received from Jeff Davey and the rest of Cecil Meyers has been awful. I understand mistakes happen and the oil being 2.5 quarts low was a mistake but you NEVER ignore a customer. For being "The dealer with a Heart." I have yet to receive even a simple apology. I am the most unhappy with the service, response to me the customer, and that the vehicle was unsafely low on oil when it left the lot and no one seemed to care.

I recently purchased a new car at this dealership, I will say they went out of their way to find the car I wanted and sold it to us, that is where customer service ended. It was dark when we picked up the car the following day we noticed a hail dent and 2 paint defects we called the salesman he said bring it back we will take care of it, but it has to be a Thursday that is when our guy is here we told him we would drop it off Thursday A.M. on our way out of town, we arrived at the dealership to be told that our guy doesn't work when it is raining, we had driven 2 cars 50 miles to have this work done they could have called. The took pics to document and said they will send it in and will call us when they hear back from Mitsubishi, we waited and never received a phone call about this work. My husband then spoke to who I assume was a sale mgr after having a disturbing phone call from their srv mgr. We where told that we had not followed through because we never brought the car back when I told him that we never received a phone call I was told that he didn't need my opinion and it wasn't his responsiblity. I mentioned that a phone call letting us know that they had heard back and it was covered would be nice he told me they can't make phone calls for everything same response I got when I told them they should have informed us that their paint guy doesn't work when it is raining. Don't expect any service after they get your money and you drive off the lot, their warranty apparently means nothing. I buy a new car every 2-3 years this will be the only dealership that will not have me as a repeat customer.

The 'other' Wright brother-didn't get off the ground. I emailed a request, went in, got to drive a toyota Prius (overpriced) Never got to drive a Mitsubishi. One salesman said the New Mitsubishi truck was just a Mitsu body and a Dodge undercarrage. I got a responce email that evening and I told them "I was just there and didn't get to drive a new truck. Dumb and dumber in MHO

PROS: Location
CONS: Lights on, no one home.
