Bunker

Great store, sweet shoes, and sweet tees. Generally a large selection of some pretty sweet brands. Theres everything from watches to baby basketball shoes, and eyecandy headphones. One of my favorite K.C. shops. To a o. that lady is the owner of the store.

In town for the 4th of July and wandered into this store...WOW! Great shoes (Licks, Dress and Fashion). Cool Baby Section with the cutest Baby Nike Dunks I have ever seen and over 2500 watches and sunglasses in stock. Its an independent store and the staff are very helpful. Great place to find unique gear

The Bunker is one of the best clothing stores in the Midwest. Period! I recently moved from LA to Kansas City and this fashionista never thought I'd find cool, hip clothes, kicks, and the like to adorn my bod. Well, I was wrong. My friends clued me into tho this large independent clothing store in the heart of Westport. Since then, I've been a frequent customer. The kids that work there are helpful, but not pushy. Lots of great brands and hard to find clothes, sunglasses, shoes, even edgy baby clothes for the rugrats. Great website, too. The Bunker's not Urban Outfitters, and I, for one, am glad for that.

I totally agree with John T! Support your local artists, musicians and retailers. The Bunker has been around for at least 10 years...I used to shop here when BIG PANTS were in...you know what I mean??? Come on, you used to wear them too...fess up! Anyway, the Bunker is the BESt of a dying breed of independent retailers. It's not your cookie cutter Pac Sin or Urban Crapfitters. Support the Bunker and save the world!!!

The Bunker is the best independent store in the Kansas City area. The prices are on par with everyone else out there if not a little cheaper. Anyone who says this is overpriced is probably used to TJ Max or Marshalls...The Bunker carries really cool brands like Modern Amusement, Triple 5 Soul and OBEY other less known smaller labels out of NYC and LA like Masons 191 and Pop Icon. The Bunker has a GREAT selection of Mens and Womens clothing, shoes and accessories...the baby section is to DIE for...soooooo cute! They also have an internet store that does watches and sunglasses...they also have a bunch of these in the store. The Bunker is really one of the only cool independent stores in Kansas City...cool stuff, cheap prices and GREAT sale items. Support your indepents BOYS & GIRLS or we will ALL be shopping at the mall (you can shoot me first!!!)

Killer shoes! But, very bad customer service from the lady that's worked there for years. She is always rude and offends anyone anytime she has the opportunity. The younger kids that work there are pretty much always helpful and friendly in a quiet way. But steer clear of that other lady. She is evil. Pure evil. Why do they keep her??!! Seriously. Are they really that desperate for someone? It must be b/c she can work 24/7, b/c she is always there.

But the shoes almost make the experience inside worth it!

The bunker has good sales every once and awhile, but everything else is WAY above retail. Some of the workers are friendly, but there are a few people that have worked there for years, that are just plan rude. They follow you around and make you leave YOUR PURSE at the counter if it is too big.
