Grabbed a coupon from Pizza Hut's Web site. Called the local Pizza Hut and told them to deliver the large two-item pizza to my humble abode.

I ordered pepperoni and pepperoni, ensuring the order-taker understood that my coupon allotted two items and I wanted both to be pepperoni. The chap said he understood.

Pizza arrived. Opened box and stared. Then mumbled to myself. I was disgruntled. Only a very small portion of the pizza's surface area was covered by pepperoni and that minute area was covered by paper-thin slices that could not be detected by taste when I chewed upon the unappetizing appearing lame excuse for a pizza.

Interestingly, the next day, corporate Pizza Hut had a hired firm call me to ask about my "pizza experience" with the outlet I ordered from.

Maybe it was due to past complaints from consumers or perhaps another reason.

I spoke my mind about the sub-par pizza, one of the worst pizzas I have experienced in many years.

I was amazed a firm would output such a lousy product. I would be embarrassed to send out a pizza of the low-quality I received; whether I was an employee or the owner.

I will obtain revenge, though. There are a multitude of pizza joints and a HUGE selection of pizzas at the grocery store to select from. As a matter of principle, I will shun Pizza Hut for at least several years... that's the type of guy I am.

In fact, one of the better pizzas I have had lately is the 12-inch Sam's Club pizza sold at Wal-Mart. It is far far superior to what Pizza Hut sent me and the store-bought critter is around 4-5 dollars LESS!

Additionally, since the Sam's Club-brand pizza is baked at home it is easy to add goodies to it to personalize it and make it even yummier... at a very low cost.

Take THAT, Pizza Hut.

**UPDATE**

It is now 2-1/2 years after the event described above and I still have opted to shun Pizza Hut. That is how LOUSY the almost cheese-barren pizza and pepperoni-lacking pizza I received was.

I was and am still appalled that a pizza joint would have the NERVE to send to a customer such a sub-par product that obviously had, at most, 50-cents worth of ingredients and was so TASTELESS!!!!!

It is possible I will NEVER buy a Pizza Hut product again.

There are simply too many other pizza sellers out there and none that I have purchased from EVER handed me a pizza with such a skimpy amount of product atop the pizza.
