I had my 2009 Pontiac Vibe repaired here, thinking that with the Onstar and whatnot, my best bet was to take it to a Chevrolet dealer. Big mistake. They took over a month to finish, and my insurance only covered a rental for 30 days. After leaving me without a vehicle for a few days, Don Brown finally agreed to cover the cost of another rental. I got my car back a few days later, on a Friday, and when I got home I noticed lots of overspray and dirt in the paint. There were random parts from the interior left lying inside the car, and they had neglected to put a couple small interior parts back on. There was some kind of white line of what looked to be paint transfer on my windshield. I believe they rushed it so they wouldn't have to cover the rental for the weekend. I had to take it back in Monday, only to be shuttled back to my house while I was without a vehicle again for 4 hours while they fixed it. Almost two weeks later while driving my check engine & VSC warning lights turned on and then turned back off later the same day (they had taken the engine out in the repair process)- I didn't think much of this until another 2 weeks later when the same thing happened again, but this time I lost engine power. I took it back- again on a Friday- & they said there was a bad connection & "fixed" it. Here I am the next day and it has happened again. I am now without a vehicle for the weekend. Maybe they knew there was a bigger problem & didn't want to pay for a rental- either way, I will be asking my insurance company to cover a different facility to resolve the issue, and NEVER again will I patronize Don Brown- not even if you paid me to

I have been every where trying to find a dealer to finance me on the truck I wanted to buy and I fell for the "Slap yo Momma" guy on the radio and it was a joke. Its not really a bank like the ad says and its a used car lot with old and high mileage cars. I was going to say hell with it and just buy a $3500 truck and make payments to my brother, he was online and found something about credit repair I filled out the online credit application at stlrebuild and within like a half hour I got approved. Barrett Henry is the person who does the credit at Don Brown. He is truthfully the best guy I have ever met just dealing with day to day transactions. I don't normally do much commenting online about buying stuff I felt this guy deserves some glory. I had some jacked up credit and he made it happen with 1000 bucks down. The only other deal that someone had offered me was for a 10 year old truck putting 2500 down and then I would have had to pay another 5000 grand NO WAY if you want a good deal and save yourself all the trouble of getting jerked around call Barrett Henry and be upfront with him worked for me.

Everyone that I did business with including sales manager and finance manager were very friendly. This is my very first chevorlet car and I am very pleased with the vehicle and first class customer service. My family has been buying from Don Brown Chevrolet for years!

Our salesman was very cool! Made an appointmentw/ him after calling dealership and inquiring about a specific vehicle. As soon as we pulled up he greeted us, had the Equinox ready to show and test drive. Knew what I wanted so in we go for the dreaded negotiating. However it wasn't that way at all! No hassle really! They were able to help me out even with a small snag in my credit report (which they let me straighten out) Don Brown Chevrolet made it happen. I have been using the service department for years and have always been treated like a king!

My husband and I recent purchased a car at Don Brown. We bought a 2008 Chevy Impala. As luck would have it, the car was rear-ended. When we took the car into have an estimate done at a local dealership where we lived in Ofallon, MO, we were told immediately that this car had been previously wrecked and painted over - and not even well. The estimater pointed out where the painting was done and where the paint didn't match. It had been wrecked and painted over, and not well. I told him we got a CarFax prior to purchasing the car and was informed that CarFax ONLY reports damage over $2500. Our damage was about $950. When my husband called DB Chevrolet, he was told the salesman he bought the car from was fired, and the the 'manager' on duty, a Mr. Steinbrugge (sp)? hung up on my husband after stating he thought my husband was getting an attitude. They will not return our calls and have been avoiding them altogether. Rest assured we will be making a personal visit, or contacting media, BBB or the Attorney General's office if we are not satisfied. Buyer Beware!!!

I had to bring my new car in 3 times to have a problem fixed before they were actually able to fix it. Although we did not end up buying our car from here, we thought the service wass good, not too pushy. They were friendly and helpful. WE looked around a bit before being confronted and we appriciated the space.

Don Brown Chevrolet usually has a goofy commercial running on the local tv stations. I checked them out while shopping for a SUV recently and found their selection more than adequate. Found a model with the exact options I wanted without much trouble. I ended up buying at another dealer because I got a better price there but if I hadn't found another model elsewhere with the options I wanted, I would have bought it here.
