New Creations Salon

I was looking for someone to transform my long brown hair into a Victoria Beckham style short, blond cut. I also wanted someone that would support Locks of Love. On a whim I called New Creations Salon and they were so friendly and helpful with questions on the phone. So I was happy to schedule a cut and color. When I arrived I didn't have to wait at all, they hung my jacket for me and then offered me my choice of beverages. The atmosphere is so inviting and comfortable. The salon itself is so cute. Very open with colorful walls and fun pieces of furniture. Not your typical black/white cold salon. Heather seemed so excited about doing my hair; the whole time even though the process took two and a half hours. She made me comfortable the whole time. The transformation was dramatic! Everyone in the salon was interested in what she was doing. They all came over and introduced themselves. I brought in pictures of what I wanted and she was able to copy the style almost perfectly. She even offered to give me free styling lessons if I was having trouble maintaining the style. When I showed my hair to my friends and family everyone gave me the same response: You look like a Movie Star! Thanks Heather !!!

I am a review virgin,but I had to write, b/c it's how I found this amazing cute little salon. I had to return the favor.I had been going to the same hairdresser for 10+ years. The last time I had my hair cut by my previous hairdresser I asked for a change and after giving some suggestions she still cut my hair the same way as always. I have curly hair and I was always afraid that someone new would not know how to work with it or cut it appropriately, that was until I found Katy at New Creations. I am so happy with how she cut my hair. For the first time in a long time. I love my hair and the way I look. I have never loved a salon experience so much. She took my suggestions and incorporated her own creative flare, all the while explaining to me what she was doing and why. Katy really took her time and explained how to manage my hair whether curly or straight and recommended (but did not push) products that would be good for my hair either way I styled it. I quickly realized all the "professional advice" I'd gotten over the years didn't ever work b/c it was incorrect for my hair(.good thing it wasn't me} It was so great to have someone really look at me and my hair. I bought conditioner by Grund for 8$ and to my surprise, Katy puts in the bag ( but not before reminding me how she had used them on me) free samples of every product she used on my hair. She even gave me a micro-fiber shammy to use b/f adding conditioner.... I appreciated being able to try them b/f buying a ton of stuff that I may never use. Turns out, it is all great so far. My hair looks better than it ever has!!!! I cannot recommend this salon enough. For anyone who has curly hair or just wants the best cut/color Katy knows hair !!

Checked them out after reading all the great reviews online. that many people couldn't be wrong. This may be the best thing I have done for my hair in years. The reviews I read didn't begin do do this place justice. My hair looked Fantastic !! Not only that I had so much fun. The thing that really struck me right away was that everyone there was was genuinely happy and extremely friendly. often times to get a fake smile through a forced sugary voice might be the best you'd get at my last salon. It was refreshing to see an entire group of people that so obviously have a passion for their industry and take pride in what they do. People happy to be at work?? Odd, but nice to see. The proof was in my hair, it has never looked so good. Honestly, I must have difficult hair b/c it always looks O.K. when I leave,but I can never get the same results at home. Lindsey was my stylist and she took the time to talk to me about products that were best for my hair plus she gave me a ton of tips for at home reproduction. The owner even took the time to introduce herself and she gave me free samples sizes of ALL the products that were used on my hair. I didn't even know how to act ! Normally I am told I need to spend a million dollars on an entire line of stuff I know nothing about to make my hair even stay on my head. (alright, exaggeration) It was very nice to actually be able to try the products at home for several weeks so that I could decide if they were good for me or not.. I give them 5 stars !!!!
