I purchased my wedding dress from Norman's in Springfield. The very moment I stepped in the door I should have turned and left. After telling them my budget they basically said you can look on this wall and left me alone to pick things out and take them to the dressing room. While in the dressing room a consultant came into my room and took a dress out for a girl in a different dressing room. (a dress I was getting ready to try on) They treated me like dirt from the beginning. Unfortunatly the dress I liked was only available through them. First they tried to get me to order the dress without seeing samples of the color. They acted shocked when I asked them to send a color swatch from the other store. Then they told me that it would be here in 6 weeks but it took at least 8 weeks. I even paid the extra for shipping. Every time we called to find out where the dress that we PAID for was, we got no help, everyone had a bad attitude toward us like WE did something wrong or were in the wrong for calling. They never wanted to help me, they were more concerned with talking to bridesmaids on the telephone. Then today I went to pick up my dress and had to ask to try it on. They were just going to send me out the door with out offering for me to try it on! And when I asked for a real bridal bag for my dress, not a plastic bag. I was told that I didn't spend enough on my dress to deserve a cloth bag, but I could purchase one. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!! If I could do it all over again, I would go anywhere BUT this place. The only help we got was from someone at the Lebanon store who actually gave us a tracking number so we knew when the dress would be in. Last time I checked this should be an unforgettable experience, this was, but the wrong kind of unforgettable. I won't forget how we were treated, the trouble we went through, and the people we dealt with. I would tell everyone to not use Normans Bridal in Springfield. Terrible experience, Thanks Normans Bridal for ruining this experience!

Dear Jansen and Heather, We are very disappointed to hear that you were displeased with the service provided by Normans Bridal. We would like to take this opportunity to review the order date and our notes with you. Heather was first in on July 18 and selected the Bridesmaid design that she wanted to wear as her bridal gown. We obtained color swatches for her to make her selection from and she made her decision and purchased the dress on Thursday, July 21. The dress could only be manufactured in time for your wedding date by doing it as a 6 week rush cut.. This manufacturer closes the orders for the week ending on Friday so the order was sent to the factory on Friday to begin processing on Monday of the following week with a requested and confirmed completion date of Sept 5. The dress was completed and was sent from the manufacturer on Tuesday, Sept 6. It was not possible for it to ship on Monday due to the Labor Day holiday. Shipping from the manufacturer is 4-5 business days. There are no Saturday deliveries.. Heather called us on Sept 8 to inquire on the status and we let her know at that time the dress was en route. She called our Lebanon location on Sept 9 and we provided the tracking number. The dress was delivered on Monday Sept 12 at which time Heather was called . Lastly, my groom later told me that the only word he could come up with to describe how it felt to watch me walk down the aisle was ""awe."" It doesn't get much better than that! My daughter is very hard to fit and pretty picky. They never gave up till we found the perfect dress. (Reasonably priced, too!) I highly recommend them.

This is a beautiful store, but the employees were very pushy and stuck up. I am not a size 2, so they didn't seem to want to help me. I left feeling very bad about the whole situation. The store was beautiful though.
