Corner Cafe

The Corner Cafe has been a Riverside legend for decades. After searching the nation for biscuits and gravy as good as Corner Cafe's, I came to realization that there is no rival. Don't order a large plate unless you intend to share! I highly recommend the french toast as well. This place is a must-go if you visit KC.

If you are a connoisseur of biscuits and gravy, try the Corner Cafe. Although there are many other things on the menu, the ability to get the basics right speaks volumes. Their biscuits and gravy are among the best.

I love their rolls! This place is a great place to eat good home cooking. The wait staff are always great never had any problems with them. They have a great selection of desserts and their chicken strip salad is huga and wonderful!

This restaurant always has great food!! The service is great & it's a kid-friendly enviroment. I don't visit as often as I'd like, but in the 10 years I've been going there, I've never had a complaint.

If you love down home cookin', then you should definitely visit. I've never had anything there that wasn't excellent. Their rolls are wonderful, and their homemade pies and other baked goodies are to die for. Yummy!

I have never had a reason to complain about the food in this resteraunt. The dinner rolls are always fresh, buttery and filling. The cinnamon rolls are sweet heaven. The service is always great. I go back as many times as I get a chance to visit. One person may see something one way while another person has a totally different opinion. So do not be afraid to form your own conclusion. They are AWESOME! Maybe they were just having an off day!

Make sure to visit this restaurant if you live in or are visiting Kansas City, you're sure to add it to your list of regular stops. You will find top-notch "comfort food" like meatloaf, chicken and noodles and fried catfish. All of the food is homemade with care including the salad croutons, which are large and buttery, so good you could snack on them by themselves! The service is always excellent as well, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I liked this resturant because it was a different kind of place. It has an old country look yet very clean. The food was pretty good. They cost was relatively inexpensive. The rolls are what keep people coming back. They are very popular and are homemade and sold by the dozen. I had fried chicken and it was pretty good as well.
