Len's Auto Repair

Len's is one of few businesses in the mostly residential area I live in. They had already proved to be a good neighbor with their clean, well kept property. One of my neighbors referred me to them. They now service my wife's VW and my Trooper. I manage the service department at a local motorcycle shop and having that perspective, I realized immediately they were going to provide the type of service I will pay for. I have the equipment and experience to handle most of the service and repairs on the vehicles I drive, but time is scarce. If they had not impressed me I would make the time to do it myself. I am very glad they are just down the road.

My car recently started making some sqeaking sounds when I braked. I took it to Len's on the advice of a coworker who goes there for all her servicing, but I had never been there nor had I heard of it. The people working there were incredibly friendly and the place was clean and inviting. I dropped my car off and they even gave me a lift back to my office. A couple of hours later they called and told me that my brake pads were in good shape, and they had a good long life left in them. The squeaking was because some of the parts were dirty, which they cleaned and lubricated for nothing.

I'm not saying everyone in the world is crooked, but I guarantee you there are a lot of places out there that would NOT have been honest about the pads, and charged me out the wazoo for parts & labor. For a first experience, they were great, and I will definitely be going back in the future.
