this place is shady & you need to compare prices after seeing these folks or they'll just rip you off. the service was ok.. they'll tell you off if your car isn't up to par though.

DOBBS is the nearest car repair centre from my workplace - 1 mile east of Lindbergh on Olive, between to party city / Hardee's.\r\n\r\nI went in with a leaky tire..they took more than 2 hours just to look at it..finally said it had a nail and could not be repaired.\r\nThey wanted to sell me a new tire worth more than a 100 bucks.\r\n\r\nI went to the dealer the next day..the dealer said the tire damage was minimal and they could easily repair it.\r\nThe repair cost me a fraction of the cost of a new tire.\r\n\r\nI will never trust this place again. Would rather drive the extra 9 miles to the dealership.

We recently bought a PT Cruiser and took it to have the inspections performed. I didn't realize this was going ot be such an issue. The guy comes out and tells my fiance that they couldn't open the HOOD and had to break the cable to get it open. She calls me and of course I call them to find out what happened. I tell the guy that I opened the hood 1 time in 1 shot before we bought it and gently closed it, I had no problems. We drove it about 10 total miles before having them get there hands on it. I can't understand how they could break the hood, when they should have a lot more experience with them than I do! Then he has the nerve to tell me that HE DIDN'T HAVE TO TELL HER THAT IT WAS BROKE!!! They ended up ""fixing"" the problem with a zip tie and tell her she may want to get that fixed sometime. I told him that they should fix it, becasue they broke it. This guy was some piece of work. Needless to say, I WILL NOT be taking any of my vehicles to a DOBBS AUTO place again. Apparently they can't handle the difficult task of opening a hood.

I paid $95 for a diagnostic (most expensive than other places). They didn't provide me with the actual diagnostic result in print when I paid for it. When I asked them politely If I could get a copy of the diagnostic report, the representative gave me the report in a rude manner.
