My husband has been shopping at Rodgers in Lees Summit for years and has spent lots of money in there. He purchased an engagement ring for me 2 years ago from Rodgers and it wasn't exactly what I wanted so I went back and upgraded to about a $6000 ring. Let me just say, this ring was over priced and he said that he was giving me a deal. I took it in regularly for cleaning and to get it checked. One day I went in there and there was a loose diamond on one of the bands. That was fixed and I asked him if the 3 rings could be sodered and he said no as they would not be able to be cleaned if there was no space.........whatever!!! Then, about a month later, I went back again as the main diamond had a loose prong. I asked him if he could fix it as it was snagging on everything and who wants to lose the main diamond (and the most expensive part of the ring)? He stated that "he could not shave it down as this would make it more fragile." I asked him if I could trade it in and he said "yes you can, just like you can a car.......but you have to spend double!" So, that would mean that I would have to spend around $12,000 on a ring??? Are u serious??? At this point, I was so mad that I decided it was time to leave with my $6000 messed up ring and bid farewell to Rodger's Jewelers. I got in my car and headed to where I knew that I would get excellent service.....Noe's Jewelry in Lees Summit. I walked in and told Logan what had happened and asked him if he could help me and not only did he say he would exchange it, he gave me a great deal on an even bigger and better ring. No hassle, no stress, just an easy exchange. I will definitely recommend Noe's (and especially Logan) to anyone that is shopping for jewelry. Thanks a bunch Logan :)

I agree with the latest contributor. Their customer service ethos dissapeared a while ago. The do not care about offending customers or not returning calls.

DON'T USE THIS STORE-YOU WILL REGRET IT. Terrible store, terrible owner & the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Just like Wendy (below), the owner (Rodger Thomas) and his staff have awful communication and customer service skills. On 1-27-2011, I dropped my watch off to have it repaired - with the stipulation that they call me when they received an estimate from the repairman. They neglected to call me for 32 days. When I called to inquire as to the estimate, I was told the following: "The repairman has stopped returning our calls. However, we will get back to you." They lied; they never returned my call. I faxed and emailed them that I would like my watch back - UNREPAIRED - after all of the terrible customer service, I told them I do not want them touching any of my jewelry anymore, period. Just give me my watch back. Today (March 9th) I went to pick up my watch and the owner said it would cost $370! He then lied and said I gave him permission to fix it at that price. I did not. The owner is lying through his teeth. He is a pathological liar and does not care about screwing customers over. No apology, no smile not even a sheepish grin. In fact, he became pugnacious & acrimonious and tried to fight about it. The owners solution? He is going to ship the watch back to the repairman (which he claims is in Chicago) - and have him undo the repair. He will then get it back to me. At that point it will have been over 60 days that I have been without a watch!

Even worse, they do not seem to care that I will never buy from them again. Without a doubt, they have the worst customer service I have ever seen in 52 years. If I were a little younger, I would smack to owner across his face and knock his teeth out. But, now that I am older....

Stay away from Rodgers Jewelers in Lee's Summit. You have been warned.

This store has a wide variety of jewelry. They were very easy to work with and offered to have a piece of jewelry specially made to fit what I wanted when I replaced my wedding ring at 10 years. When I was not completely satisfied with some of the stones placed in my ring, they immediately fixed them without any questions. They employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely be using them for future jewelry purchases.

This store is located on the outer road off Chipman near the new mall.This jewelry store is a great asset to Lees Summit. I have bought several gifts for my wife over the past year here. They offer great customer service and cometitive prices.Lots of selection for you to look for the perfect gift.They also do custom jewlery and repairs.
