Seafood City has moved to a larger location and is well-maintained in comparison to the dingy store they were previously found in. This store offers a large variety of fresh seafood choices, as well as frozen seafood. In addition, it has fresh vegetables, frozen authentic Asian foods, sake, teas, authentic imported drinks and sweets, noodles, instant meals (Asian style), and Asian cooking ingredients. The store carries some things you may normally see in other shopping centers for your convenience, as well. I love Seafood City because the meals we put together from there with a group of friends come out to less than 1/3 the cost of going to Red Lobster or similar establishments. We enjoy home-made calamari, large shrimp, lobster, crab, dumplings, catfish and stir fry with the help of Seafood City, typically enjoyed with a warmed cup of sake or tea. If we feel really adventurous, we bring home Thai (or other cultural) imported drinks. I recommend this establishment to anyone wishing to purchase Asian food, utensils, pots or pans or just wants a cheap meal including fresh fish. They also have other meats for a fair price. Just remember to tip the guys who weigh your goods!

This store is using formalin to fix their dead fish. The fish looked very fresh outside but got badly rottened inside. When you semlled, there were not any fish-like smell.
Formaldehyde is classified as a probable human carcinogen by the U.S. EPA, and as carcinogenic to humans by the World Health Organization.
