I think few people know about the vast resources available to them at Linda Hall. The beautiful architecture alone is good reason to visit (they've just finished a remodel), and they have wonderful special exhibits and programs. Along with their standard science collection, they have a wealth of materials on local issues, such as tornados. To top it all off, they have one of the best collections of tree peonies in the country on their grounds. It is free, it is open to the public, and it is beautiful -- even if you hate science, check it out.
