Great food and atmosphere!! Too many great items on the menu to list from Jerk Tilapia and Blackened Mahi Reuben, to the ever changing buffet for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Being a Floridian working in MO, great island food and Caribbean music take me home!!

This used to be a favorite of mine for breakfast meetings with a wonderful breakfast buffet. I went there once about six months ago and was sorely disappointed in the food and the service. Don't know what has happened.

This place used to be one of my favorite restaurants in town to get seafood, but the past few times I've been there, I have been extrememly disappointed. The buffet didn't have hardly any food on it and what was there was cold. The staff wasn't up to par - we watched the 'carver' from the buffet stick his hands down his pants numerous times and then continue to cut meat. Needless to say, will not ever go back.

Message from Hemingway's

No visit to our 300,000 sq foot flagship store in Springfield, Missouri, is complete without taking time to enjoy an unforgettable meal at this one-of-a-kind dining establishment. Dedicated to Pulitzer and Nobel Prize winning author and accomplished outdoorsman Ernest Hemingway; Hemingway’s décor features authentic photos and memorabilia including a snapshot of Hemingway on the deck of the Pilar where he landed the largest marlin to date in 1935 at 1175#. A lovely mahogany and marble bar formerly a San Francisco barber shop in the late 1800’s surrounds a 30,000 gallon saltwater aquarium overlooking the main dining room. The menu mirrors Papa’s appreciate of the great outdoors featuring signature dishes with duck, bison, catfish, and the ever popular alligator tail. Hemingway’s partners with local farmers and bakers for the freshest highest quality products and features all natural hormone free chicken, grass fed beef, and sustainable fish. Come and dine in an outdoor sportsman’s paradise.
