Westport Plaza Laundry & Dry

I took a large comforter here to be washed, and they did the work fine. I didn't use any of their self-service machines so I can't comment on them. But when I was there, a huge rat ran across the floor, so I find it hard to give this place a good review. I'm not sure if a rat warrants an instant 1-star review, but since there was nothing wrong with the actual service, I'm bumping it up to two.

I recently moved from midtown to OP and after several disappointing experiences at my new neighborhood cleaners I now drive back to to Westport to use Westport Dry Cleaning. The service & quality are always impeccable

I was very disappointed in this place. I went because the place I had been going to closed down (and said on the sign that this is where they moved to). However, it was NOT the same people at all. Westport Laundry sends off all of their clothes...and therefore take no responsibility when an item is lost. They lost a rather expensive skirt of mine and were incredibly rude to me every time I went in to check on it. The general manager was relatively helpful (compared to the rest of the employees) and eventually found my skirt (approximately a month and a half later). Did I mention that they would only give me a 15% discount on my dry cleaning for my trouble? After as much trouble as I had to go through...and the fact that I didn't have my skirt for two different events I was wanting to wear it to...you would think they would have done more (at least giving that set of dry-cleaning for free).
One employee actually told me "Do not bring your laundry here. They lose things all the time." SO, I am passing that advice on to all of you:-)
