Went there with a Mommies group. They got us all seated pretty quickly and the waitress did not act overwhelmed with us all! She was great with the kids. The food was good and the souvenier cups the kiddos get are so cute and fun!

If you're looking for a fun, kid friendly place that also has great adult fare, look no further than Crayola Cafe!

The kids were kept busy with a whole bucket of crayons (no stingy blue and red here!) and the adults had a great time looking over the balcony at Crown Center. When our food came I was shocked! I ordered a salad with candied walnuts, oranges, and lots of other goodies...it was awesome! The spinach dip was great too, not oily at all.

Our whole group had a great time, and although it did take quite some time to be seated as we came at lunch rush it was well worth the wait.

We ate there on a Monday night after Christmas. There were 2 adults and 3 children. It was not busy at all so we were seated right away. However we didn't get any adult menus and had to ask for them because the waitress didn't even notice we didn't have them. When the food came out it was lukewarm and not very good. I had the reuben and the meat was chewy, it was gross. No one once asked how our food was and we never were asked if we needed refills. Overall, it was a bad choice and we will not be going back there.

If you are looking for a fun place to take your children while at Crown Center, visit the Crayola Cafe. As one can imagine, it is from the makers of the crayons, so it is very colorful. The restaurant is somewhat open to the rest of the mall. The food is for the kids, however, not necessarily the best cuisine. They are moderately priced. It is clean and the employees are friendly.

This colorful themed cafe in Crown Plaza is friendly kid friendly place to to get a bit. They have an extensive kids menu but they also have a good menu for adults too. The prices are moderate and the located right downtown is great. I would recommend it as a great place to catch a bit while visiting beautiful KC.

What a concept, a Crayola themed restaurant! Awsome colors! Crown Plaza area! Now if they could just clean the place up, I might go back, even with the ordinary food and ordinary-to-slow service. When my feet stick to the floor of a restaurant, it doesn't matter how good the food is (which actually wasn't bad at all). Please clean up, guys! Pretend like you care.

Pros: Great food, great theme, view of Crown Center Plaza area

Cons: Filthy - need I say more?
