I take both of my dogs to Horton Animal Hospital Northeast and I've always been happy with my experience there. The doctors are really nice and gentle with the dogs. They also get us in quickly if a dog is sick. I board my dogs there too and they always seem happy enough there. When I had to board my dogs somewhere else because they were full, they got me in quickly to get the bordetella vaccine. I was surprised that they would make it a priority but they did.

We have been taking our precious cat and dog to Horton Animal Hospital on Paris Rd since 1998. And although there have been a few doctors come and go (as well as some of the assistants) each and every one of them have cared for our ?babies? like they were their own precious pets.
Our cat has an allergy condition that causes her to loose all of her hair on her stomach. This was so terrifying the first time, but the doctor at Horton was very reassuring and helped us through this.
Our dog is very mischievous and curious ? more like a cat ? and gets into everything. She somehow opened a bottle of medication and we weren?t? sure how much she ate, but the doctors at Horton were very gentle and caring and helped her get back to great health so she could find something else to get into.
They are kind and caring and love their job, the animals and the owners of the animals they treat.

PROS: Kind, caring, friendly and know what they are doing.
CONS: After hours they are hard to contact.
